on march 10 when the monks were protesting peacefully the chinese troops imprison 10 monks.

rest of the monks waited impatiently for 3 days for the chinese troops to release the 10 monks. when they refused to release the 10 monks, then they started the riot joined by lay men on 14th march.

Despite its flaws, CCP is doing fine in general terms. overwhelmingly majority of Chinese people are happy. Such protests from western societies will only serve one purpose-unifying chinese people around CCP, and hinder its democracy progress, making CCP live longer, creating hatred and misunderstanding between western countries and China
