Sergej Larin was fantastic people person with big hart and big artist!!!He was my very very good friend also a singing teacher, he was ever prepared to help!And we will him love!

I just read about Sergej Larin's passing on the parterre box website. Some discrepancies on his actual age. I enjoyed his Chandos CDs of Russian songs. I first saw him (and thought he was kind of sexy) in the documentary "Love's Debris".

I just heard this morning of his passing, at 51 - much too young! I understand that he died in Bratislava quite unexpectedly. So sorry to hear that... he was a fine singer with a nice spinto voice. He stopped singing for a few years due to illness, and recently returned to the stage. I am so happy to have seen this April 2007 performance, representing his comeback.
