@kgiesler11 salt used to be worth more than gold. That is where the saying "he not worth his salt comes from." But it is used for seasoning and food preservation and many other things people would not think about. And there is medical purposes for salt too. It's very cheap and it can be traded for other things you may need. Because a lot of folks are not thinking about salt.

Did you stock COOKIES, do not want to have to go out on a raid for THE COOKIES, LOL. Not counting the Freezer and Fridge's ( Generator for that with 1.5 weeks of fuel in stock 24/7) have about 3 months of food. Have had to do it for 5 days after the hurricane, lived very well. Family laughed at me, Dad is loosing it, a little crazy till we needed it, now they changed their story. Gave them both a pack with a 7 day supply for their apartments. Thanks and take care my friend.

Dudes thats no joke the first footage is maybe 2-4 hours after the earthquake and tsunami in Japan. My buddy lives in Tokyo he went out after 2.5 hours to get some food the only thing left was beer (thank god!) and some kind of dried fish snacks. My friend got the beer he had enough food to make it. But it just shows if SHTF and you try to prepare then its too damn late....
