Unfortunately, in vintage racing, not all the drivers are of the same level of competence. It is supposed to be more about keeping old classic race cars alive and well and not to showcase the 'hero drivers'. As you can see, that is not always the case.

This was in June, new (faster) car on track by Jan.---I've been racing since 1958 in all types of cars...the Mini Cooper is probably the safest and most forgivable car I have ever driven, professionally or as an amature!!! BTW, the driver happens to be my brother! Way to go Bro
thats what happens when you have open wheel cars on the track with close wheel cars, they try and get in to spots that are too little and cause too much chaos

Ii is a bit unusual these days to see open wheel mixed with closed but CVAR is doing it with Limited Prep Sprites and Vees and it was done in 60s. Minis are tough little buggers. By the way, you promised me the only usuable part left off the car...a wheel. :)

@Christine102938 you clearly know nothing about cars. Most of the best cars ever made were British. British Leyland made a few dodgy ones in the late 70s/early 80s but the vast majority of British cars were ahead of their rivals in most respects.

You have a right to your opinion; mine of British engineering has never been very high. Oh, and I do own some interesting cars and motorcycles, but clearly know nothing. (rolleyes)
I have a mini no in fact i have had 5 and they do not suck! i have owned a modded mini clubman estate a cooper and now a cooper s and if you know what they are doing they are as fast as hell! ( MINIS RULE! )
