mister, sincere by my opinion, this is one of the greatest works over the pieces u make over. grateful "thanks" for the work u share with the people over the world!
Brilliant execution! Love your playing and appreciate the critical commentary and notation transcriptions. I'm primarily a guitarist, but I play piano informally. I intend to get your DVDs. This is a fantastic educational tool. Thanks for your commitment to music.
Wow. What a super job and a super service you are providing. It's great just to watch and see how it's all put together. And such a great ballad. Wow. Excellent work! Excellent playing! Excellent Video! Thanks - you make all the hassles of the 'net worth wading through! Keep up the great work!
really great playing! and the work you've put into laying all that out is incredible. The world of jazz piano owes you a debt of gratitude for all your effort!.
I'm running out of superlatives to use in my comments for your videos. ;-)
Great description of your techniques and the logic behind their use. Love the way you "blues" things up. Extremely well-crafted and constructed performance start to finish.
lot2learn doug mackenzie sounds as good as anyone. What is the difference between a super famous player and you martinez, pianistaitaliano or doug mackenzie, 7notemode, groovatious etc?
Doug - absolutally love the first rubato part. You keep the tempo loose whilst not loosing the overall sense of time - quite a skill! And as for the trio section, well I always learn lots from you.
You are right about the distortion - definately slight clipping in the treble, worst I would say in the octave about middle C. I don't know whether it's those notes which are generally louder, or it's just restricted to those frequencies.
nice...

Did you edit out some of the first part video and then attached the 2nd part or something? Is there more we're missing in the solo piano part?

hi! i am playing this piece for å concert next week, with a singer and a trio( i am a jazzpianostudent)
I like your music very much, though you have many "ideas" from Bill evans, and other pianists, i think you have a very personal and original sound.

Absolutely beautiful version Doug, very good contrast with the beautiful and unique version of Tom (7notemode)
I also love the second part (swing) great bluesy idea, and as usual mastery use of block chords.
The accompaniment of the bass and drums is like "real" played. Is this the last version of Band in Box?.
By the way,the explanation of your approach in HD quality is phenomenal.
