This excellent playing makes me feel good too :-)

  • Bro am a church musician all my life. Love how you play;). Jesus loves You! Jimmy NDM Studios 631-399-0541 Keep playing;)

  • Great clip. Love his style, chords, trills etc. A little too much Leslie switching for my taste, hard on the switching relay as well, but well done!

  • the best

  • ASSUME Brother this is a field that I want to get into how do I start and where are you from Amoye25566@aol.com

  • Do you play any contemporary songs?

  • Thank you, son, for blessing an old gospel piano player with your special rendition of this classic song. Love your style. God bless you.

  • Awesome man.. I love your style.. Keeping it simple but clean if you know what i mean... God bless you man..

  • Sweet tunes out of a sweet thang...THanks for the blessing''

  • Love that sound.

  • pretty ---pretty --- pretty ---- thats really nice playing ---liked it

  • Stan, you are a great organist. God bless you. I like your style. I am an organist in California for two churches. Kepp doing what God has blessed you to do.

  • amazing chord progressions man...

  • Extremely Nice sound, however, heres another, "Tremolo/Chorale," abuser! Please allow the Leslie to switch back, and forth....this is not an exercise tool.....use that left hand to produce more chords, instead of becoming a, "Switch Abuser!!!!!!!"

  • where are you from im a wilder to and i play organ drums bass keyboard and guitar

  • @keyhead101 Atlanta

  • @bigrob30349 oh.youthink we could be family?

  • that is feel the music

    genial!!

  • hey man what drawbar settings are you using? I like the sound.....add me on here. I need some pointers. Just bought an A100 and a Leslie 122. I'm a jazz piano major but I wanna master the Hammond. Thanks :)

  • I like that! I use the switch often too!

  • Chords at the beggining are sweet.

  • Ain't nottin' likes good organ playin. Share your blessing, that was great.

  • Always wished I could go to a church where the Organist plays like this.

  • that's what I'm talking about...his style is timeless!!!

  • WoW!!!!!!!!

  • Beautiful!

  • My bor,hmmmn... thats tight..

  • I say just go to a solid state relay

  • i use the switch very often on my b-3. I dont think it matters...but my b-3 is the B-3 P so it may be more resistant to wear than the older models (which i prefer)

  • I been playing the Organ for 35 years, and can tell you, a Organ is go always break down at some point because it is man made. If you never hit the tremolo switch, the Organ will eventually need some type of repair. Just like a car; at some point, it's go need servicing. And, as for the tremolo switch; thats what it's there for; it's not there for decoration; it's there to use for expression. This man is a good player and gifted. I have a classic 1975 Hammond C-3 in my living room.

  • Awesome!!!!!!! loved it!!!

  • yes yes yes doc i hear you bro you are cogic

  • That was nice!! Who cares about how many times dude switches the leslie. If he tears it up.....so what, you won't be getting paid to fix it anyway. Basically dude is tight and and instead of giving a compliment......."dude switched the leslie 10,000 times"

  • somebody always has something to say when a decent player is doing his thing, I feel ya bro keep doing ya thang, God bless!!!

  • Yes it does...

  • Ok fellas, its funny about the Leslie switching, but I am a full time tech and FYI switching that switch is very stressful on a number of components, please dont do that, secondly, the amount of times you move that switch does not make your playing sound any better at all.

  • HAHAAA!! Sounds like somethng a "tech" would say, LOL!!

Abbey Road techs told Geoff Emerick to never mic a kick drum less than 3 feet away. So guess what he did out of innovation.. HE MIKED IT FROM THE INSIDE! & then recorded Sgt. Peppers (Ever heard of the Beatles?) Its techy comments like yours that are perfect in theory, but dont fly in the real world. When somebody is inspired to switch a knob, THEY'RE GONNA SWITCH A KNOB!! They might have to fix it but hey.. Isn't that what techs are for!?

  • He uses the switch 44 times in 2:39 wow

  • This dude is going to burn the relay switch out in the Leslie.....I mean doesn't even give the tremolo switch time to even come on and go off........lol

  • LOL.Yeah, I had to back off the switch:It's a force of habit to just click without thinking...Second nature.I blew a relay...VERY annoying. The Leslie never worked the same after that even after 4 relay replacements from the best organ man in Cali (Joe Cardoza).People don't realize how much stress that is on the relay.Let it ramp completely & chorale. They weren't meant to be switched mid song,& they all have a switch life. It's not worth having to kick the hell out of it to get it to change speed

  • You need a new tech. Those relays last forever unless audio is over-driving to square waves which cause the relay to flutter and fail. Adjust your trim cap or lose the extra preamp. Trek II pedals are great for blowing these relays. Turn em down a little for better results.

  • right on the money stan

  • We will understand it better By and By! Amen.

  • Man, way to slap some chords on that! Loved it!

  • Wow! Keep up the good work..."Kingdom Building". I really like your style. So, uplifting and not over the top. Next time, play more verses and work the chorus! God bless you so that you may continue to bless others.

  • If you haven't already put out a gospel album, you need to!!! Makes me sick I stopped piano lessons way back when.

  • he got a cd out that sounded pretty good i think it was gospel not for sure but it was very good!!!!

  • Ahhhhhh!! A heapin' helpin' o' HOT!! Thanks for putting this up!.

  • i agree with fstanley35, you are truelly blessed, keeping it real to music and yourself. Stay blessed J

  • Stan, that intro was on point!

    Bill Phillips

  • Man, I love traditional gospel organ. I'm only 24 but i practice more that style than I do contemporary. Keep doing your thing in Jesus' name.

  • Preciate It. Keep doing your thing and practicing, I will be looking forward to checking some of your music videos. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help.

  • now you talking

  • hey wus up i play gospel hyms to been playing for a year but am learning the new stuff to be all around gospel player

  • Bro. Wilder, I like this a lot!!! Nothing over the top...just a bit of jazz-flavored gospel that remains true to the natural flavor of the piece. In my opinion, this is how a large sanctuary B3 (and player) should sound: a bit of spice to the arrangement without taking the congregation off the main road. God's BLESSED His Gift in YOU!!!
