Something wrong with your logic? Would Adam Lambert be singing this if no-one had first written the song? I place creativity and skill on almost equal pedestals. I would almost never give full-credit for creativity to someone who is simply "covering" other peoples' songs.

Singers who don't also continually play instruments are only good enough to me when they have very unique voices. In ten years I don't imagine being able to differentiate Lambert from others. Sorry.

@WMackbd I am sorry but although yes this song wasn't written by him, he wrote a few of the songs on his first album and is writing most of the songs on the newest one. Also he was asked to sing this song, he never took it without permission, so he didn't plagiarize as you put it.

I've said that he didn't write this song. My explanation can not be simplified more than it is already...If you don't want to listen to the original version of this song, then that is your loss, i'm afraid. Adam was not the original artist for this song. Credit rightfully belongs to both Alain Johannes and Natasha Schneider, end of story.

A beautiful song. Haven't heard it for a while & I'm struck with how the lyrics apply so perfectly to the tragedy in Japan. Japan has been through so much & has so much more to deal with because of the continuing nuclear impact. They have to rebuild and double-back at the same time.

It really is a time for miracles but I believe that the Japanese people will rise to the ocassion & make their own miracles.

Skating is lovely, too. Thanks so much for introducing me to these 2 young people.

This song was written for the 2012 soundtrack, & the songwriters & director of that movie were wanting Adam to sing it for them even before S8 of Idol was determined (if what I read was correct). If you have the 2012 dvd, it has the music video on it as well.

Many Adam songs work well 4 skating - search youtube 4 adam lambert skating. Chk both reg & featured sections & you have at least half of FYE album. (The 1 for skater named Nick was a custom cover of some1 elses song & predates Am.Idol)
