  • @parttimelaver Calm the hell down. Have you heard the saying.. "A poor workman always blames his tools". Reference to you? Mhm. Stop blaming the tutorial. It's not this dude's problem to spoon feed you EVERYTHING. You have to learn it yourself. He's just showing you some basics. I understood it. So, what's that saying?

  • I, for one, thought this was a cool tut. Not what I was looking for, but def cool as to show yet another feature of the app. I haven't worked in In Design very long but think I might have to start doing more spreads like that. Way cooler than scrolling or "next page" w/o the transition. Forget all these naysayers. I appreciate it. Thanks.

  • what does indesign cs4 do

  • @PVIMultiMedia rapes children

  • Why do we need every program to do everything? Why can't print be print and web be web? It's not as if the prices of these things have gone down.

  • @suarezstyle I totally agree with your comment. A Desktop Publishing program should be just for print publishing. If I wanted fancy movies (which I hate) I'd use Flash (Wash my mouth out I just swore) I hate Flash so much I got Mozillas Flash blocker plugin. I used to use QuarkXpress but the program is so behind the times it can't even add stroke to text but it does all this interactive rubbish so I changed to Indesign.

  • Creative Suite 5 Wooh!

  • how would you go about making fonts like that first one?

  • this looks like powerpoint to me

  • wtf? lol

  • gay

  • By the way, what the hell is this tutorial about? This is not an overview. This is helpful to noone

  • I'm pulling my hair out at the minute trying to master marks and bleeds. The fact that i am having trouble with this feature shows just how ridiculous the tutorials and instructions are. I know CS4 Indesign like the back of my hand and yet i still can't master this feature. The CS4 Indesign help website is a TOTAL disgrace - you need to be extremely literate indeed to follow it.

  • you should try and use a mac

  • noob

  • n000b

  • Your screen is too blurry. I stopped watching after about 6 seconds, sorry 1 STAR.

  • Thanks for the explanation!

  • HEY!. I have a question!. how to put the outside back cover on that page transition? I cant put it there!>... thanks

  • Overview...? I was expecting to be shown the basics from creating a new document to knowing how to move around with the tools.

  • You didn't explain how to even put the buttons on there in the first place?

  • Simply Amazing!

  • which is better?

    Adobe Indesign?

    or

    Adobe Soundbooth + Contribute + $100?

    Please, I want your feedback.

  • Thanks alot works great

  • someone knows how to change the size of the paper for print , because i did a calendar but for print is too big so i need to change the size to A-3 .of course in insedign .

  • Is it all? It means to be useless!

  • yeah, easy, quick, clean.

    Thanks a bunch.

  • RIght :D

    Greetings from utrecht.

  • What is indesgn specificly for making?

  • Comment removed

  • Its like Microsoft Publisher. Making pages and stuff.

  • @illusionkid54 Have you any idea of what indesign can do and what publisher does? :D

  • @jjharris457

InDesign was made to help people who publish books and/or magazines online and/or in paper form.

  • wow!!!

    Great tutorial!!!

  • Five stars!

  • do you know how to export a file in adobe cs4 ? All the tutrorials are rubbish.

  • Many of the tutorials are very good, perhaps it is your research skills and effort level that is in fact rubbish.

    thank you

  • Is this method better or the traditional pdf for presenting in design content professionally?

  • Nice tutorial, but you yourself probably needs a tutorial in desktop video recording and editing--this is too blurry for me to follow through with the interface.

  • How do i change the letter size on CS4?

  • Does anyone know where I can view an example of these awesome interactive magazines?

  • Can you import pre-existing PDFs into InDesign?

  • What's the different between InDesign and InCopy??

  • how do i add buttons to it? please pm answer

  • So this is a program to have more editing power and to replace Powerpoint? Im having trouble understanding the difference between this and illustrator other than the adding of interactive effects.

  • ?? This has been made for adverting things... Making some kinda "Public Info source"... Illustrator has been made to use Vector and to gain more control over your image...

And believe me powerpoint is less advanced compared to this...

  • kewl, i could do presentations using this.

  • Thank you. I'm new in Indesign and this helped a bit. :D
