  • Entitled fucks

  • the prime minister of India was born into a lower middle class family, and studied by kerosene lamp. Prior to becoming PM, he was a professor of economics. While more funds are better, virtually all american public schools have sufficient funds for a child to learn all the subjects that require memory, like history and sociology and literature, and cognitive skills like math up to the level of calculus 1. but if the child does not study at home, the child will not do well.

  • @rh001YT uhm, that's fantastic. I agree to a certain extent. But if you don't have school books how do you study! Alot of these students don't even have books.

  • What about the National Merit Program and the National Achievement Program, please refer to section 14 of the SAT/NMSQT information page, 2 programs for scholarships for African Americans only, though there is a Latino version as well. I could see how they may use this to close the "gap" but its like replacing oranges with grapes. As a middle class white male looking for education opportunities I find myself asking if there is anyone to represent me.

  • fucking bastards charge the rich not poor

  • until education goes back to inventing and knowing things like history and discoveries and coverups then the education system will still rely upon brainwashing our children! Someone out there must take a stand on this! How many females out there really want a good education for their kids. Well think about this... if you do, then they can not own the publishing companies that are oked by the govenment that is suppressing the information, or members of that party and yes its Aipac!

  • Way to go Al Jazeera and the students. Property taxes due fund school systems, and I am glad the students know this.

  • Fantastic coverage of educational disparities. Too bad this issue isn't covered by more mainstream media outlets.

  • ----It took Al Jazeera to get this issue covered?

  • Free and public education are not guaranteed in the US Constitution. Public education sucks anyways.

  • lol not about money get off the god dam games, phones, computers and read for once and study then the kids would be like shit all i need is a pencil and paper wow its thats simple.

  • Maybe if blacks would get their test scores up, we might help them out. DUHHHH!!!

  • God Bless America

  • Teaching themselves. God Bless them! This is what I have done and have learned more from doing it than attending one of the wealthiest schools in MI. It is up to the individual. Some start their lives rich and end up poor, and vice versa. That is just the way it goes!

  • Does having toilet paper and soap have anything to do with getting a better education? Would you get a better education if you had toilet paper and soap?

  • You would be surprised by what toilet paper and soap say about education.

  • and they forgot the Asians huh.

  • why the hell are these kids blaming the city?

The people paying there taxes earned that money.

They get that money from good jobs.

    The economy is hell.

And they blame it on the city.

    =/

  • how is an education a "right". calling it a right subjugates others to slavery because your "right" demands others provide a service to you.

  • A couple of things are wrong with your supposition. The first is according to Article 26 of the UN Declaration of Human Rights, education is a right to all peoples no matter their social standing or place of origin. The UNDHR was adopted by all member states, of which the US was one.

It could also be argued that a guarantee of education is supported by your Declaration of Independence stating all men are created equal and have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

  • I'm fuming right now!!!!!!!!

  • This is America!

  • I wonder about what that woman is saying because this happens alot. I do not even think property tax is the reason for this.

  • Call Congress and Demand Puerto Rico be included into the Stimulus! Puerto Rican soldiers are fighting for the UNITED STATES and are excluded from the Stimulus.

  • Join the club, not too many of us have had our real lives changed yet. But realistically, what in the hell can anyone do after one month in office.

However, you are correct that even Puerto Rico should be included.

  • monkeys are the one who build piramids way before cave men started to travel to Egyp-Africa to steal ideas from them!!

psycho cunt go to hell where your sorry miserable ass belong you fucking rapist!!!!

  • MossadAgentWatching: Didn't tell you to go fuck your mother?!?

  • buhahahaha.

why dont u just kill urself.

  • I just wish the black millionaires would break bread with a lot of poor communities so we aint got to depend on devils.

  • This could all be solved by legalizing drugs and then taxing recreational drug usage. Recreational drug usage is highest in the poor areas. A 50% tax on street drugs would probably help pay for a state-of-the-art school system in each ghetto.

  • power to the government

  • Bunch of fags.

  • this is class reinforcement

  • privitize all schools and give people a choice where they want to go. Just like a bad restaraunt you will loose business if the education and amenities are horrible.

  • NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!! That's what we had before the 20th century, and we had adult illiteracy rates through the roof. Poor people would still go to crap schools because they wouldn't be able to afford good ones just like poor people go to McDonalds because they can't afford to go to $500 a plate gourmet restaraunts. The problem is disparity of funding, not lack of market control.

  • If the governement gave us the 6k or more taxed for each student a classroom size of 30 means 15k per month that is plenty to run a decent school. Education level has little to do with flat screens and everything to do with quality teachers. Yes they need good tools but not waistful tools. The people need to have the control not the government over what we are taught, what we eat and what we can say in school

  • Hmmm? I am white and totally on your side about trash running the country, but it's certain corporations, banks, and systems such as the prison and military industrial complexes that are the trash..

All this petty division which you show here clearly, is what keeps us apart instead of us fighting the true fight that would result in a better world for all...

  • You speak with a lack of education and maturity. Not all white people are against minorities. My husband is Palestinian and I have been fighting for Palestinian rights years before I married him. I am American born and German by blood. Don't bite the hands of people who fight for human rights for all . You are the kind of person who destroys the reputation of an entire race..

  • @bonzaibb12 What are you talking about. The video said nothing about all white people are racist. They were talking about education and inequlity in how funding is spread around. Do you want an applause for being being white and married to a minority, and "fighting" for human rights? Welll, clapp clapp!!!! Now press the re-play button to this video b/c you totally missed it's essence!

  • Calm down. We all live and die. Blacks enslaved blacks and whites enslave whites.

    Listen to Bob Marley ffs..

  • I am sick of affirmative action! Its legal discrimination! Does anyone know why taxes are so high? Do you know why police are paid less in inner cities? The people don't pay their taxes! Give them some more of YOUR hard earned money America! Yes we can! Thats CHANGE and its all covered in Obama's stimulus pork plan.

  • You're right, affirmative action is legal discrimination, but I also see the serious disparities, so my suggestion would be to impliment a 'robin hood' law that would require the Federal government to spend the same amount of money per student in every jurisdiction, that way, no school is 'better' than any other; no school swims in funding while others struggle to buy textbooks. Affirmative action asserts difference, equality implies sameness.

  • you have got to be FUCKING KIDDING ME if yu think we have a President runnin' this TOILET OF A COUNTRY....ha ha ha ha ha ...those DAYS R OVER!

  • It's all a big plan. People are easily manipulated.

A slave world is coming if the masses dun wake.

  • race is still an issue in america for anyone who thinks just because barack is elected they are dreaming

  • This is devastating. I live quite close to Baltimore and can validify to how true these conditions really are.
