Of all the female led operatic/melodic metal bands that I like I'd have to say Amy (Evanescence) has the most clear voice, Sharon (Epica) has the best sounding voice, Shannon (Within Temptation) has the best vocal range, Tarja (formerly of Nightwish) has the best ability to sing to the song, and Christina (Lacuna Coil) has the best metal voice.

Also, I love Lacey Mosley's (Flyleaf) voice just for its unique sound.

I love each one of these bands. I really do.

However, Otep blows them out of the water. Pure, unadulterated, vicious, beautiful, and terrifying emotion. I don't think there are many bands at all that really grasp and appropriately convey anger, rage, sorrow, regret, revenge, power, and the ability to overcome anything, the way she has.

This is a very high-quality, well-made video, and I appreciate all the artists, but I agree with some of the other commenters who said that the title Queens of Rock/Metal does not fit most of the songs. "Hello" is the slowest Ev song. And the Epica song (Run For A Fall) and Nightwish (Sleeping Sun), are all lovely, but not what I would consider their most metal. The rest is more doom metal-sounding, so I guess that part is okay. Well, anyway, good job. Enjoyed it overall.
