I liked Dani's old look better. Because it was very very gothic and sincere and it fit their music perfectally. For your information: If you actually knew something about this band, you would also know that CoF is NOT and DOESN'T even claim to be black metal. Study your facts, read for example the book the Gospel of Filth--> Dani himself says that they abandoned black metal right after the first album, because they chose to be a gothic metal band, NOT a black metal band. So there is no point saying that filth is not "real black metal", because it is extreme gothic metal.

Most of you guys clearly didn't get why Dani has on the new makeup. Remember, what is the theme of this album? Lillith comes back and seduces everyone. They've even said it's a feminine counterpart to their previous album. Therefore, he clearly went with this look to coincide with the album. Next time you want to criticize an amazing artist, maybe you should think they choose that style for a purpose.

Two things I would like to comment for all those "true" heads:

1) Cradle is NOT black metal, so deal with it. It's fucking dark extreme metal or whatever you want to call it, even "evil metal". Fuck labels.

2) "Dress code" is for pussies. It's about things "evil", not about dressing always black and spiky (mostly about Dimmu references of their last videos). And many things evil can be in a lot of ways, even in pink, if you dare (Pennywise the clown comes to my mind...)

@LiyakX I see them more as "Horror metal". It seems with each album they slightly change their sound to fit the theme and obviously change their image to accentuate it. Midian was a Lovecraftian style, Babylon AD a Marquis de Sade style, and the last album I would guess is a throwback to crusades and the base horrors of humanities mistreatment of one another.
