  • thank you very much!!!!! I appreciate..

  • thanks! All hail the new saint of awesome sauce and canned mushrooms

  • thanks

  • nice, thanks!

  • I cannot get my Z Brush 4R2 to get it's symmetry on the X axis right. It's like diagonal rather than being straight across from each other. I've tried literally everything....nothing is working????? Please help me...I'm getting so frustrated and discouraged.

  • @makeuploveculture is local symmetry turned on? Not sure if that is you issue but I think 4r2 has it turned off as default.

  • @makeuploveculture I'm not sure whats turned on or off at this point haha. Thank You for your reply though!! I think my boyfreidn finally figured it out. But it's another story if i figure it out when hes not here lol

  • hey. IM a guy from Sweden. I´m an apprentice in sculpting and I had an issue with the symmetry. This video helped me out. Thanks!

  • thank you so much! thumbs up for you dude!

  • That was incredibly helpful. Thank you so much. I hope you got that sainthood. :)

  • I favorited this because there is no way I will remember this when I get stuck from a stupid mistake.

  • Sainthood granted.

I've learned to just expect nothing to work in zBrush, and look for videos like this

  • extreme thx !

  • A very old and painful problem, omg its fixed, thanks a looooooooot for sharing this, GOD BLESS

  • Oh thank you so much, God bless you!! :)

  • Thanks!!!

  • It's pronounced 'SIM-i-tree' not 'Sem-e-tree'. Thanks for the vid. ;). Much better than that freakin' guy who typed...super....slowly...with...notepad....in...broken...English. ;)

  • Thanks a lot, I was having this issues forever, it also solved my X symmetry offset problem :)

  • super thanks, i keep having symmetry issues when i import .obj files from other programs.

  • gee thanks I was really looking for this simetry stuff

  • This is the best video on youtube!!

  • OMG!! thank u dude!! this crap was fustrating the hell outta me!! u just saved my tablet from being thrown across the room :P

  • cheers for the help ... lifesaver :D

  • Thankkkkkksss very muuch!!

  • thank you so much.

i was just getting frustrated why my symmetry was not working till i saw your video.

    thanks a ton.

  • so can someone explain to me how i can import a .obj with the same coordinates I export from max?

I have a model that is asymetrical, but I have the axis going down the middle of the part that I want to sculpt symmetry with. zbrush is putting the axis in the middle of the entire mesh, disregarding how i set it up in Max.

  • that was so helpful . thanks you very much

  • Massively useful video solved my symmetry problem thanks

  • Hm, strange. I import an obj file, but no matter what I do, the symmetry is way off? Do you have an tut on that issue, or is the answer simple?

  • @HelleRita my problem also...i think this is bug that they can't fix...

  • @HelleRita same as me...shit symmetry is allways broken

  • 1:44, what does "here" means? I cannot guess what you mean. Where did you reset the pivot point? I am trying to resym, but I can't

  • @HelleRita - If you right click Transform on the top bar you will see the options.

  • Your videos are always a big help, this one was no different, thanks. =)

  • thanks for the info but it doesn't work for me could you help

  • in my new project doesnt work,u have the answer or not

  • Thanks!!

  • yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees thanks maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan

  • Thank god for those tips. Or thank YOU is more in place I guess ;)

  • Well, having finally found where to set pivot point and so on, I still ran into trouble.

Even when I set pivot point twice and use unify, I still continue to get the same error: "Symmetry result 0%. Symmetry points found. Symmetry map was not stored."

I mean...what the Hell.. What am I missing, here?

  • Urgh, for whatever reason, zBrush never wants to let me smart resem, or resem whatsoever.

I can't find the center point or pivot point, or how to move them where they need to be. I know I am missing something, but I have no idea what.

  • cool that was really annoying me lol

  • M*** F** zbrush !!! Thanks man vary helpful !!!

  • Thanks a lot.

  • you are the freaking man. thank you for posting this, me and my co workers just figured out how to fix half the problems we've been having. it seems like 'unify' and double clicking 'set pivot' is just like reset x-form in max *puke* ;)

  • i cant activate symetry using globe. pls response
