  • Where can I find the lyrics to "Growing up and I'm fine"?

  • I didn't know he had existed

  • I saw Mick play....a gentle stage presence combined with his unique way of holding his searing riffs..Mick, you made a difference!

  • Correction, he made a difference to us... Most people don't even know he exists, it's truly sad.

  • Mick IS THE GREATEST

  • Brilliant!! I agree Mick will shine forever RIP.

  • So true

  • It may be true that dying stars burn brightest - but Mick will shine forever.

  • totally amazing,

    rock on!!

    R.I.P mick = )

  • awesome

  • one of the all time great rock guitarists!

  • Hes My Dads Cousin :)

    Im Related To greatness :)

  • Thats amazing!

  • good tribute, nice one, god bless ronno.

  • Thankyou. :)

  • legend

  • David Bowie And Mick Ronson Were The Ultimate Team Ronson Best Guitarist Of The 70's

    R.I.P Mick Ronson

  • Rock on Angel no.9

  • Served in the royal marines with mick's brother. It's a brilliant tribute and well deserved.

  • Mick used a Vox ac 30 top boost combo amp telecaster white boxed treble booster with the Crestas

The Rats , with Trevor Bolder! on bass he Marshall stack, amp on top 2"wedge of foam under it hendrix influence!

Mick he was an inspiration always a STAR!!!!!

i hope this back ground is interesting to someone?

  • Marksplace Mick Ronson say no more had a sound of his own there will be no one like him...Play don't worry

  • Really nice tribute to Mick. Thanks for that.

We'll never see another one like Ronson. He was pure magic. I'll always miss him.

  • mick was always a special player even at 18 when i first met him he stood out from the croud

he had a gibson 330 which he loaned me for a set in beverley regal

then he had a white telcaster (he was into jeff beck)and then a black les paul (later shaved to maple) bought from hammonds in hull from another legend who worked there ricky kemp from steeleyespan

mick was such a quite sincere guy so sadly missed rip

  • QUOTE; "and then a black les paul (later shaved to maple)"

My best friend when I was younger was into Mick Ronson & he also was a guitarist w/ a Black Les Paul did the same to his guitar because he idolized Mick so much & actually played like him & he also was into Jeff Beck back in the Yardbird days.

  • It´s interesting that all my guitar heroes plays Gibson and I love those guitars!

Mick Ronson´s sound is still the best LP sound (in the sense of rock)ever heard for me since my youth in the 70´s.

  • I totally agree :D

  • @NaritaLab - man this is why I want a Gibson but they are so expensive compared with a Stratocaster. Also they are pretty heavy too.

  • @gav240z I own a pre-owned ´75 LP Custom which I bought for $600 here in Mexico City 10 years ago. And also I have a pre-owned LP Studio which I bought for $500 3 years ago in Japan...my LP Studio sounds better than my LP Custom and it also weights less! Anyway, any Gibson sounds better than any other manufactuarer's...mm...and you´re going to need a Marshall too...(I prefer Fender), good luck!

  • @NaritaLab thanks for the tip. I'm going to be in the US again soon and guitars are cheaper there. So will probably pick up a nice 1 there.

  • @gav240z Mucha suerte!! (Good luck!)

  • fucking soundtrack of my youth! thanks mick!

  • THANK YOU!! We MISS you MICK!! I was lucky enough to kiss him once! Long Live Mick and his Music!!

    Michelle :)

  • He's the best! :)

  • mick can sing so good i think is the best

    gutarist ever

with out mick there would be no david

    tanks MICK!

  • There were very few guitarists to match the soul and dynamism of mick ronsons guitar playing. I think he was the most fantastic soloist to have ever lived. His palying on a width of a circle was pure unabated brilliance. without mick there would have been no david. When bowie came up with his songs they were good, mick made them great. Just listen to his playing on the song 'time' from alladin sane..you were the business mick, sadly mi

  • Guitar work on Time - pure Ronson magic. Such a shame almost all the time it's behind vocals, "song within song" as so many times before and since. I wish I could listen to original instrumental track...

  • We enjoyed seeing Ronno's album cover at the very last image...by the way, that is Ronno's sister in the photo laying down after being shot.Little 'triv' there...

  • I had no idea, have you seen the music video for Slaughter on Tenth avenue? The whole video is at that scene.

  • It's not his sister, it's Suzy!

  • Love you always Ronno, all of us in Toronto...your daughter IS so beautiful, we wish

Suzi, your widow all best and all of our love for the future..We will all see you somewhwere one day, we are sure...

  • ONE OF THE WORLDS GREATEST

  • I cried my eyes out

  • brakes my heart

  • love this

    thank you

  • love you and we miss you Ronno...your daughter is lovely and you live on , you are immortal now...you knew that Ronno....R.I.P. Ronno....all of us in Toronto...

  • Bella :)

  • I love this song

  • Ronno is the best - forever

  • Ronno you are the prettiest star....RIP

  • RONNO GO!!! RONNO ROCKS!!!

  • too much bowie and that notorious take of them! Anyway Ronno is an angel. Song is great. Such a shame he sang so rarely...

  • Nice one. 14 years on we will never forget Ronno. His spirit lives on through those of us who love his music. God Bless You Ronno.
