He didn't have to be in Cup for a few years full time first. But hell, the haters seem to know everything.

I have tried to like Jr for about 7 LONG years now because I was a big fan of Dale Sr. But after watchin these last few races Ive decided your right he does SUCK! Actually, Burton and Bowyer have still had respectable seasons. Bad luck has gotten Jeff in a few races, but Clint is easily the best of all the RCR cars this season. Harvick has been beaten constantly by Bowyer and Burton the past couple of years.

@43labontepetty IDK. The Gibbs people were complaining constantly 'cause those two kept having run-ins starting at Lowe's in the Nationwide Series in 2008. Then it carried over to throughout 2009, and went the whole way to Daytona 500 practice 2010. They've calmed down ever since, but boy, you just don't know about those two. Hamlin's almost as much of a baby as Kyle Busch is, but I will agree that someone could get hurt between Brad and Carl. They take it too far.

I have tried to like Jr for about 7 LONG years now because I was a big fan of Dale Sr. But after watchin these last few races Ive decided your right he does SUCK! He can only blame someone else for his problems for so long. and it's like he don't even give a shit anymore, he misses his pit stops on almost every race or hits a wall every other race. So I do agree hes OVERRATED let someone else have the spotlight that hes taken for granted. Im now a Tony Stewart fan.

Actually, Burton and Bowyer have still had respectable seasons. Bad luck has gotten Jeff in a few races, but Clint is easily the best of all the RCR cars this season. Harvick has been beaten constantly by Bowyer and Burton the past couple of years.

Mears is by no means a "great" driver.... but the only way to say that the current Dale, Jr. is "better" than Mears is by the number of rednecks in Mtn. Dew/National Gaurd t-shirts. And IF I remember correctley, Jr. and Mears have the same ammount of wins behind a Hendrick wheel.... one.
All in all, Jr. had no reason to go after Mears. IF Mears gets a harsher penalty than little Daley, then Nascars just trying to protect their version of Butt Baby Sydney Crosby
