Hopefully the next Sonic storybook game will allow us to use all of the control methods for the Wii (Gamecube, Classic, and Wii Nunchuck). Also one thing I hope they do is (If they are going to add a gimmick to the game) make sure they don't focus so much on the gimmick itself and handle the gimmick like in Sonic Colors where the wisp weren't too overused. That's kind of how the critics sort of disliked Sonic And The Black Knight.

@icetray There's nothing wrong with variety WITHIN THE SAME SERIES. Think of Sonic as Ice Cream, 1 type of food: There's nothing wrong with adding new flavors and toppings in your store. None of his gimmicks ruined his gameplay. Heroes kept speed, Shadow kept the speed, Black Knight and Unleashed kept it, but added something NEW in the mix. Sonic is not JUST a speed platformer. Accept that and allow yourself to enjoy the franchise as it is, not as you want it to be. Most Digi/Pokemon games suck.

I know people will probably hate me for this, but I never thought the story book series was a good idea. They're running out of ideas so they are frantically searching for things that they think will be appealing. I own SATSR, and SATBK looks good but I wouldn't get it unless it was $20, the same price I payed for TSR. Those games just aren't worth that much in my opinion. Sonic just defeated Eggman for good in the comics so why can't they just do that in the game so I will no longer care? lol

yeah i've heard that before *sigh* but yeah sega has been pretty much done for already. well at least nintendo and square don't always go happy-go-lucky with their games. they've released too many sonic games recently. sonic unleashed is enjoyable yet there were much higher expectations for that game. I don't know what else they could possibly do with Sonic to make him seem as appealing as other characters game-wise. Mario and final fantasy have always been huge successes no matter what.

Yeah you did but my vote would be Greek, I can see him taking down the Hydra or the Minotar. Remember God of War already did a story when you go after the Gods (the critics would chop that) but I could see him going after the Legends like the ones I stated above. yeah i've heard that before *sigh* but yeah sega has been pretty much done for already. well at least nintendo and square don't always go happy-go-lucky with their games. they've released too many sonic games recently. sonic unleashed is enjoyable yet there were much higher expectations for that game. I don't know what else they could possibly do with Sonic to make him seem as appealing as other characters game-wise. Mario and final fantasy have always been huge successes no matter what.

acaulty the comics are doing good, planing on going to 300, might work for them if i come over to the states, but while i agree that making too many in one month is not reasonable, you have to realize that if sega threw out sonic, that would be the same as nintendo throwing out mario and square with FF, its somethign they can't dicth
as for mario and FF, well, when was their an acualty main story for mario besides the rpgs and galaxy? and FF7 has too many sequels/prequels imo, but meh...

Yeah you did but my vote would be Greek, I can see him taking down the Hydra or the Minotar. Remember God of War already did a story when you go after the Gods (the critics would chop that) but I could see him going after the Legends like the ones I stated above. Im confident that the next game will be SWEET!

Sonic and The God of Speed I like I mean that game probably go back to old school sonic speed game and the final boss you up aganist a dark god and your transformation will be call Speed God Sonic and each battle will be like unleashed boss fight.

you know in his old series "Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog" there was an episode where he was a cowboy, kinda creepy but maybe its just that I cant see him walking around trying to act like a sheriff and do all the stuff the guys in the movies do.

if it's horror, then it's gonna be "Sonic And The Phantom (my second guess was Sonic and the haunted house but, nah)", if it's sci fi, then it's gonna be "Sonic And The Invasion Of The [name of galaxy/aliens here]", if it's cowboy, it might be "Sonic And The Outlaw (sonic holds a gun :3)", or if it's legends then it'll be "Sonic And Hulk Hogan (XD random)"
