Hey all, hows it going? you like football manager games right? i found this cool one online footy-manager com its very similar to the football manager game. check it out. its pretty cool actually.
I had forgotten what a smashing player Frank McDougall was. Seem to remember him scoring a hat-trick vs Celtic the same season. Shame a talent like that had his career cut short.
It was the following season and he actually scored 4 against us up at Pittodrie. We played them off the park in the first half and wasted a shitload of chances and were 1-0 down until Provan equalised with an amazing free kick just before half-time. McDougall was a superb striker. Also remember him scoring a thunderous 25 yard volley against us at Parkhead.
@chookter1 - hmmm we beat them with 10 men whilst they had 12 quite easily again yesterday. theyve won once at todders in their last 8 visits. we beat them up here all the time u clueless kid
Best result of what was a fantastic league campaign - what a brilliant brilliant squad that was - Stark and MacDougalls best season, made me forget all about Strachan and McGhee.
Don't ever delete this :-))

The Red Goal Machine Frankie McD indulges in some more textbook hun-skelping, its nice to see Wim Jansen get a consolation goal for the Orcs.

That was a strong team, if only Scotland had Miller and Macleish now. Actually that Aberdeen team is better than the current Scottish side.

The Dandy Dons were some outfit in those days. I don't support them but I wish they'd rise again and make the SPL more interesting.

carhandle thanks for posting all these old games.
What a centre forward Frank McDougal was. Pity injury ended his career at a young age.
And then to see Davy Cooper again a brilliant player. sadly missed.
I'm a Celtic man but remember these games and it's great to look back.
That fud Craig Paterson was just as shit at fitba' as he is at commentating noo. a joke.
