@subconsciousdomain it made a mockery of the manga, i mean pain looked fuck ugly for most of it and he was meant to be killed with a resangan and yet he survives a mountain being mashed over his head until he is practically a nail in the ground. It was just the writers and animaters trying to bleed a good healthy battle into an anemic mess, sorry if I come across as angry, its not at you, damn writers grr!! >:)

@haku2510 Well, I guess I like it because I wasn't comparing it to the manga. The manga is better than the anime and that's usually how I keep up with the plot because I don't watch the anime. Still though, when I see clips of the new animation, although Pain looks ugly, I still think it's pretty cool. If you don't compare it to anything, it's a pretty cool looking fight in terms of animation.

I don't watch the anime though, so my opinion probably doesn't matter. I'm also not a huge Pain fan.

anyway, the animation of the fight SUCKED SOOOO BAD that it compelled me to the point of being so sickened that I stopped watching any new episodes. I watched part of a new one the other day because I walked in on my brother watching it, only to find out that it was filler. Of course....

Anyway, I really want to know what happened. Pein was epic in the manga. EPIC.

This amv almost made the episodes look good.

Starting around the center of the sasuke vs. itachi fight, I noticed a little tweak in the animation style of the show. It wasn't bad, and in fact appeared to be for the better. Sasuke vs. the Hachibi looks pretty good too, in fact I saw that episode(s) three times.

Then came Pein.

Well, all was fine at first, then Naruto goes tails and im just like....

WTF.

well, long story short, i havent watched an episode of the new anime in 5 months.
