The bikes holding out, though the front breaks are making weird noises and the panniers got knocked. Running well in the high altitude even on 84 octan fuel, which sometimes all you get here.
Really, what brake pads are you running? did you had to weld the panniers? Yeah I have that problem of the low octane fuel in costa Rica, so I put an octane booster and it works!! maybe try and get that or a injector cleaner before you start getting EFI problems...
You don¨t get much of anything here in Bolivia. I had to get fuel from a 4WD tour Jeep at one point, so 84 octane was what I got. About the breaks its not the pads, but the discs that now are loose, and I can´t see that I can tighten them anywhere. The panniers I just knocked back in place ;-)

Hvad gør du med benzin, når du kører på de der øde grusveje? Og såkan jeg i øvrigt fortælle, at der er lidt mere juleagtigt herhjemme, end der hvor du er. Pyrus har generobret skærmen :-(

Yeah man I crashed 6 times in 3 days. Bad roads and a heavy bike! 230 kg + 70 kg lugage + 10L water and 10L of extra fuel against my 100 kg. I always loose ;-/
