  • "tea bagger" is a derogatory characterization. it ruins your argument when you personally denigrate your opponent.

    what is his voting record while he was a u.s. congressman? is it at odds with the issues brought up by the tea party and town hall protesters? if so then he's a hypocrite. if not, then I don't think he can be criticized too much for jumping on these bandwagons.
