We live in Minnesota and have toured all the sites where they filmed. They didn't film anything in the actual town of Wabasha.

Actually across the river on the WI side is Nelson, WI. Pepin is 10-15 miles further up the river.

I went to Slippery's on Monday night and it was a great time with great food and cheap drinks. The river was also a beautiful sight.
