Those from North are usually unable to identify the language. This usually happens bcoz many think "South" is a like a state and are not very familiar that each state in south is very different and that each state has its own language.
In South:
Maharashtrians are also considered north indians. How ever, marati is refered to as marati and punjabi as punjabi rather than north indian language.

When I was in my college days, I and my frnds were used to make fun of guys in the bus stops and you know what...the guys just ran away coz they knew if they rebutted ,we could accuse them of eve teasing. Threatening guys with implication in false cases too yielded good results and they were forced to obey our orders. Thus according to Indian laws and society makes we women SUPERIOR to you guys. GUYS are just female slaves and are supposed to be afraid of females. Any male dare open his mouth.

My comments may be against the background but please do think about it.
Issues like following a girl should not be an eve teasing offense. The guy has the right to go where ever he wants and the girl can always ignore it. I have seen a couple of cases where involving my frnds where they complained of eve teasing for being followed. After all if a boy passes a comment or follows her, it is entirely in the girls hand to ignore it.

All that I meant to say is eve teasing is an offense only when the guy crosses his natural limits . As long has following me is considered it is entirely upto him to go where ever he wants (including behind me ) but must stop following me when I enter some private property. Aain, It can be dangerous only when a guy crosses his natural limits and does something like touching me or throwing something on me and the like.

The men and women who bought me up are pretty much open minded. I never said it is ok to pass comments . It is no doubt bad. I have been in such a situation a couple of times.
As long as the guy just passes comments it is his mouth and he has the right ot say what ever he wants and I have the right to ignore it . [ANYTHING WRONG WITH THIS??? ].
How ever he has no right to touch me and the moment he does it, I would have broken his hand into pieces.

When I visited India, Mumbai. I found two girls making fun of guys and when I casually asked them what they were upto, they told me that they were "adam teasing" (teasing guys) and that they cannot be punished as indian laws are always pro female. So according to what you just said, those guys must have slapped those girls. I am not being against my own gender but I am only supporting natural justice and fairness. Certainly I am not supporting eve teasing. :)

First of all if a "male" person thinks it is acceptable to follow a woman who he doesn't know - why do you think he is doing it - to admire her?? no his mind is purely on his p*nis and to "have" her. WHAT IS THE OFFENCE COMMITTED IN FOLLOWING SOMEONE. I know the consequences of eve teasing better than you guys . Gender Justice means equality for men and women and so punishing following by only one gender does not satisfy this criteria. But you seem to have no respect for real gender equality.
