  • i absolutly adore this moment, when the march start and the recitatif continues on it...

  • Ma l'aria "Eh già, la solita usanza" è un tempo di Fandango?????

  • @TheMisterzizz90 you are right..it is a fandango--Beaumarchais had it in the play, so Da Ponte and Mozart used in their adaptation of it for their opera. Plus the original Figaro (Francesco Benucci) had spent time in Spain and was very familiar with the fandango--so including it in this scene allowed him to show off not only his singing but also his dancing skills!

  • ballet ,what ballet ?

  • who said anything about ballet?

  • It's a reference to the movie Amadeus

  • No ballet in his majesty's opera.

  • @scordeteyla hahahahahahha

  • espectacular ending of this 3rd act, long live mozart

  • Yeah, he's also singing Leporello in Don Giovanni. He's great!

  • Yes, he is! He's a brilliant singer and actor!

  • who is singing figaro?!!

  • Italian bass, Ferruccio Furlanetto.

  • Figaro è un meraviglioso Ferruccio Furlanetto, il basso più dotato e più intelligente di questi tempi. Vedere il Don Carlo con Karajan: insuperabile.

  • great video! and figaro is just a doll

  • I love it! Love it love it love it!
