You misunderstood my post. I was only talking about strategy. The Russians will lose Chechnya and also part of Russia eventually because their birth rate is too low.
I was only saying that, as a matter of strategy, the only way to hold conquered territory is through settlement.
However, there are not even enough Russians to maintain control of Russia, let alone Chechnya.
Like I said in my first post, I admire the brave Chechen people.
