The svchost.exe is making my computer get blue screens, I have never had blue screens until this came up, it also makes my computer like older ones, with bad animations, is this a virus, or the real thing?
I have about 23 svchost.exe and my friend that is very good whit compiuters he seid that it took up about 50 % or my memory and it makes my pc lag alot so how do I fix it ?
@kartog22 Well sometimes virus makers name there virus svchost so it doesn't look suspicious and even some of them infect the real svchost like the April fools virus (conficker). So long as you’re running a good internet security suite and keep everything up to date etc... then everything should be fine.

i have over20 svchosts running on start up n u cant tell me thts normal its a laptop

And for some reasons there are tutorials how to get rid of it... Tho i did not belive it is a virus in first place.
