  • Distorted thinking is key. The powers that be know the power of repetitive media influence even if it's false info. The biggest secret never told that every women must know is that true beauty is not physical. To the women & girls who feel of less value b/c you don't meet the standard of beauty: I'm telling you if you look within & start both loving yourself the world will see your beauty on many levels. The answer is to start takling responsibilty in being the example of beauty you wish 2 see

  • @2:48 is she fat? or normal?

  • @oOoAmberPandaoOo in the mirror

  • I still don't wanna be fat. Is there a problem not wanting to be 200 pounds? I'd like to stay at 125 thank you very much. Fat people disgust me.

  • my butt hurts

  • @SniffersandAlec hahahahaha

  • This is dumb

You should have fixed the fat lady's ugly chin

  • Why don't you people stop complaining and do something about it. Stop supporting those make up brands. Buy small brand makeup, make your own, go natural. Stop eating and supporting that fast food. Eat inside, cook your food. Stop buying those magazines on the stands eh? Buy a novel instead.Tell someone how pretty they are. Make their day. No one forces you to buy that crap. We always blame and complain, why don't we do something about it? For the first time in this generation.

  • the child pics are from pagents

  • the media is frying our brains! Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, everyone is beautiful and everyone has a few blemishes, spots, flaws! i say so what to the media those girls that they photoshopped were always beautiful! they are ruining our generation

  • I agree with Krystal about the weight to height ratio. I'm 5'4 and weigh about 120lbs and while that looks fine on me, it would be considered underweight for someone 5'7 and up. Just like how that Snooki chick, who's only 4'9, apparently weighs 100lbs now, yet still looks chunkier than me. I do understand your point though.

  • @XxForgottenFairytale Me too I am 5 feet adn three quarters. I weight 97.5 and look healthy. If someone 5'4 weighed what I weighed that might be different

  • Photoshop should be banned from magazines. and the leaders in the fashion/model industry need to watch this video.

  • 0:27, she looks better there in my opinion...

  • @aceygirl17 1:30 the average weight of a woman depends on her height I'm 5'1 and I weight 111-115 pounds thats my average and the majority of that is muscle so on that slide what you are saying is that I am underweight or super skinny when I'm not! Runway models are 5'7-6'3 and have to be my size that's the problem actually they have to be skinnier than me I'm a size 3 in tops and a size 5 in pants models have to be an extra small 1 or an extra extra small 0 or large girls size :-/

  • But even before they are retouched they are beautiful.

  • Whoa, whoa wait a minute...

5 and 6 year olds say that they wanna be skinny???

    That is too sad.

  • @Nanchee76 sorry i accidently hit dislike i meant to hit liek :/

  • Magazines or not, what if you really are fat? because I literallly am, and I'm willing to admit that. :3

  • @theoneftw101 me too:/

  • 1:00 AAAAHHHHH! D8

  • Thank you for showing this. I've always avoided beauty magazines because I always got jealous of how perfectly the models could apply their make up so they could have smooth, perfect skin, while I have huge pours, little bumps, and zit scars. Now I know I don't have to be so worried, because if I want the "perfect skin", I should try growing a unicorn horn while I'm at it because both are equally fake. Thank you. :)

  • i was seriosly about to cry when it said that children in 3rd grade were already into this!!!!

  • @bbyckhx Lmao dumbass!! Go read it again ignorant fool!

  • @natbug100 lmfao FUCKING FAG.

  • it's the responsibility of people to consume what media they want, not bitch when media they don't like is put out

it's the responsibility of parents to teach children what true beauty is, not get upset when their kids get a distorted view because the parents didn't

    take responsibility and quite bitching

  • @TheScript55 It's different in your mind if you have an eating disorder like you don't believe your mum or you think she's making it up to make you feel better? Idk but if a lot of people tell you your thin then they're not making it up or lying to you.

  • little kids look soo ugly with make up

  • @Msleb4eva Actually, no. They don't. The majority of little kids look cute and adorable without makeup so shut up.

  • @bbyckhx you shut up cuz thats what i said idiot

  • @Msleb4eva Don't tell me to shut up you cunt.

  • @bbyckhx shut.up

  • @Msleb4eva I agree with him you shut up cunt.

  • @CpsLock3 what did i say wrong? all i said was that babaies look better with OUT make up! whats wrong with that?

  • Comment removed

  • @Msleb4eva Lol er no, you said babies needed makeup actually and that's bullshit cause your skin and everything is the best when your little.

  • @bbyckhx U LIAR! I DIDNT SAY THAT! I SAID BABIES LOOK CUTE WITH OUT MAKE UP dude u have issues im against make up! if its for adults or babies cuz this shyte is fake and makes a person look fake! u need to learn how to read

  • @Msleb4eva Lolololol, I'm the liar? I even saw your comment okay stop tryna deny what you said and stop making up bullshit you twat. Whatever. I know what you said and I know what I saw.

  • @bbyckhx i know this is late but dude... @Msleb4eva clearly said little kids look ugly WITH makeup. learn how to read before you start something dumb ass... you should of at least re-read the comment and corrected yourself.

  • @xXnekovampire666Xx Piss off you absolute cunt.

  • @bbyckhx no, you were wrong and you're an ass. maybe you should go back to school and learn how to read. that way you wouldn't fuck up so much, and people wouldn't have to correct you...

  • @Msleb4eva i think they read your comment too fast or something and thought it said that you think little kids look soo ugly without makeup, when it says little kids look so ugly WITH makeup. which means you think that they are cute without makeup.it isnt really a big deal to fight about but i think they read over your comment too fast or something and accidentally thought it said the opposite."little kids look soo ugly with make up" just a misunderstanding of what you posted. dont worry bout it

  • @Arayy95 she called me a cunt -.- thats why i got mad

  • @Msleb4eva yeah, understandable, but its alright :) nothing big to worry about. not worth it.

  • @Arayy95 of course its nothing big :)

  • @Msleb4eva WHY would you EVEN look at CHILDREN in that WAY?!

  • @RacyReggie in what way? by saying their cute? cas babies r...if u didnt notice...its like im some pedo!

  • I think the first model was a lot prettier with freckles..... I never understood the whole completely blsnk skin thing, I don't have anything against it if it's natural but personally I have light freckles all over myself (literally VERY few) I actually evny those who have freckles....

  • i hate hoe the models dont even have pretty faces to begin with, they are just really skinny, there arent stunning at all. sad, remember when people would be made fun of for having pouty lips or really long eyelashes when they were little or being to skinny now those bullies are killing htemselves trying to look like thew kids they bullied, karama sucks!

  • I love how all these videos are about women, men suffer from the same unrealistic exceptions yet nobody is really all that concerned cause I mean who gives a fuck how men feel?...Oh wait that's right we don't feel we aren't allowed to because emotion, vulnerability and sensitivity are signs of weakness: hey buddy stop acting like a pussy and suck it up.

  • @zippy476 whoever made this video said something about the boys a 2:42, she didnt forget you all...

  • @zippy476 ur my hero lol. NO GUY is weak or a pansy or anything in that form for having emotions and for going through things like anorexia and bulemia!!!! we all were created with emotions, why not show them instead of hiding them? just goes to show how society is tho, men are tough while women are meant to have the babies and clean >:( smh I'm tired of this planet. *gets in spaceship* I'M GOING TO MARS AND NOBODY'S GOING TO STOP ME! Mom: tami get down here Me: well nobody but her :\

  • What song is this?

  • 2:56 ....That's what I'm like....

  • It's amazing the way they totally change that girl at the end , nobody's perfect

  • fattening your kids up, telling them their depressed and need to eat and saying ' oh its okay to eat, your beautiful and not gaining anything.... ' bitches.....

  • Quit blaming the media. Poor parenting is the reason your kids are f****d up.

  • @MrMrRocket Actually both, but media is the largest factor in the female population, you cant blame it one sole thing, there are always multiple reasons.

  • Videos that have an attractive female on the thumbnail photo get more views, even though a lot of said videos are retarded with no purpose. Thumbnails should be taken off of youtube.

  • This is so sad, Everyones beautiful maybe you don't see it but anyone can be beautiful. But what you really have to work on is to be beautiful on the inside.

  • IM SRY I KEEP COMMENTING THIS SUBJECT JUT MAKES ME SO ANGRY BECUZ I KNO THT I CANT BE A SIZE 1 108 POUND PERSON AND I BLAME MYSELF FOR THT BUT I SHUD BLAME SOCIETY

  • THIS SICK WORLD IS MAKING ME THINK THAT THE PICTURES ON THE LEFT ARE UGLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....wow time to rewire my brain

  • I DO HAVE MORE INTEGRITY I GUESS THEN PPL MY AGE...BUT I ALSO HAVE BEEN SUCKED INTO THE HOLE ..SOMETIMES I THINK IM TOO FAT OR I THINK IM UGLY AND I WISH THT I LOOKED DIFFERENT...BUT I SHOULD BE PROUD BECAUSE I AM PERFECT THE WAY I AM

  • BEING FAT..THERE IS NOTHING AT ALL WRONG WITH BEING FAT OR CHUBBY ITS NORMAL OK! BUT BEING OVERWEIGHT AND OBEST IS A WHOLE DIFFERENT STORY..SO PLEASE DNT CONFUSE THEM

  • I paused this on Faith Hills Rebook retouch @ :29 then did a screen capture and compared both sides. I counted nearly 20 things done to make her slimmer. face, eyes, cheeks, back, shoulder, elbow, waist, collar bone, hips in dress, bulk removed from dress. If you spend enough time nearly the entire image was redone.

  • kids should be afraid of being fat...it's unhealthy and can cause heart problems

  • @dahhveedahh

children shouldn't be made to feel ashamed of being who and what they are. being too skinny is unhealthy too. children should be taught to embrace who and what they are. regardless of race creed weight etc. to tell a kid who honestly has an uncontrollable problem with their weight that they're fat is more unhealthy for the child than heart problems they grow up hating who they are and wanting to kill themselves when their 'problem' isn't 'fixed'.

  • @dahhveedahh

constantly being made to feel like you're less than everyone else because your not to someone else's standard of beauty is unhealthy. children wanting to be skinnier so they can look like who ever on tv isn't healthy children are supposed to look up to people for their actions to aspire to achieve their life goals not starve themselves to look like them. to be their standard of beauty.

  • @dahhveedahh

we look different for a reason.

2 hundred years ago 3 hundred years ago it was unhealthy for a woman to be the average weight of 150. back then people were taught to like and look up to a person for WHO they were. yes there were fashion trends as there are in any time but it didn't hide who a person was. now no one cares about that. the singers have no talent for song writing so they try to rely on their voices and looks and money to win people over.

  • @dahhveedahh

they appeal to the younger generations because the adults don't want anything to do with them most adults don't want to tell their child that they're fine they way they are. they're afraid of that inimate bond with their children so they buy into their media born obsession to look like people in magazines, movies and singers. thus everyone looks and sounds the same.

  • @dahhveedahh

no one is different anymore. and because no one talks to their children, their children don't know this so they say their fat and want to lose weight when @ 16 their body will even out to what their meant to look like. instead parents feed into their children's obsession drink the media kool-aid and give their child what they want to shut them the fuck up so they won't bother you anymore.

thats worse than being a little over weight.

  • @hakudoushinumber9 what the hell are you on about?

  • @dahhveedahh True, but there's a difference between being curvy/slim/healthy and being so skinny that you develop an eating disorder.

  • My 11 year old sister posted a pic of herself of facebook with 5lbs. of make up, and calls that beautiful. Thanks make up industry!

  • Well, being fat isn't exactly good, so they do have a right to fear it. It comes with countless health risks, not to mention they would feel ten times worse about themselves than they did when they said they fear being fat.

  • I say lets stop blaming McDonald 's for being fat and the media for our disorders. The media does not define what beauty is... we do. they simply show us what we want to see. The fast food industry does not want to make us fat.... it is what we want to eat. Lets stop blaming others and change our own mindset.

  • @yourmonstermike1 Spoken like a typical man.

  • @yourmonstermike1 The thing is, little girls and boys look up to these people and try to be like them. I've seen it with my own cousin: She started reading teen mags and suddenly she's "too fat" even though she actually quite skinny, and she's started putting on a ton of makeup.

  • @yourmonstermike1 yeah I never really asked to see all those skinny people on ads... would be thrilled to see some real people.

  • it's all subliminal! they project this impossible image of beauty to get women to feel inadequate in one way or another, and thereby consume these "beauty attaining" products that won't work as well as they seem to for the models thus perpetuating more inadequacy and thus more consumption...genius really...that's kind of what jeff warrick talks about in his documentary "Programming the Nation?" there are some clips here if anyone's interested: bitly(dot)com/n1Usu0

  • Well, less than 3000 views say everything. People doesnt care about this. Its sad but its true. If you watch and pro model beauty it has millions of views. Is just the way how the world is right now. Im feel guilty, too. Because, Im involved in this shit and now its dificult for me to leave it.

I dont like to eat regular food, I drink lots of water, I make fun of fat girls.

For just one day I want to feel free and be just what I mean to be.

  • @Jauckor What does the over 13 million views on the Dove Evolution video (that's used without credit or permission at the end of this one) say about how much people care? An amateur video that adds nothing new to the topic is doing very well to have over 2000 views.

And would it really be that hard for you to stop making fun of fat girls? I doubt you'll experience withdrawal.

  • @toyboatblue I wish I could had your faith. I had lost it a long time ago.

  • What's written in this clip is wrong. In fact, 100% of the pictures in the magazines are doctored, not just 28% or 44%. It's not that hard and anyone with average understanding of Photoshop can doctor a picture.

  • @georgivelev77 I think it's 99.9%

  • It's remarkable how graphic software was able to give the illusion of flawlessness amongst models and actresses. In this age of modernity, we are also confronted with the fact that we are up against entities, the media and the high fashion industry that gave women the narrow definition of beauty by setting unrealistic standards that many women have already suffered upon. What's worst that narrow definition has already pervaded the minds of girls and little girls.
