The NRA, the 5 justices and all those other gun lovers should spend 1 week together in Englewood, the South Side, the West Side, & where Cabrini Green once stood to see how 2nd amendment rights have kept gangsters on their turf and kept on killing the innocent.
Unfortunately, it's so hard and expensive to comply that for all practical purposes the ban is still in place. Unless the feds start leading Chicago Politicians out of city hall in handcuffs, the constitution will continue being violated.
As usual Daley uses an idiotic analogy to try to make his point, saying if you have the freedom to have a gun your then gonna argue you have the right to point it at you child or spouse. Nonsense. You have freedom of speech but if you threaten someone verbally with physical harm, you're going to jail. Many States allow open and concealed carry but threatening someone offensively with your firearm is still a felony. Did Daley actually graduate law school?

Surprising he has a Juris Doctor, isn't it, considering his logic (a big trait in having a degree in law) is more flawed than the law he's trying to defend. Assuming that anyone who has a gun will wave it around in public at people, PAH, don't make me laugh. If it were legal for me to concealed carry at college, I would not hesitate to get the required training and get a handgun for self defense.

As an NRA member, I have absolutely no doubt that the Lefties will be back trying to take our guns if they manage to place another of their ilk on the Supreme Court. These Statists despise the Second Amendment because it represents a real threat to their dream of stripping us our rights for our own good.
