It only was an incredibly short version of part 3 "stardust Crusaders". Jojo's bizarre adventure was good, and then Stone ocean..... Im trying to force myself to read it. Its bad. The good thing about JJBA is that you can start anywhere with only few parts that will make no sense. READ IT PEOPLE

The arc she's in, Giornio Giovanna's arc, is one of the better ones, if not THE best.

There's actually a character SO powerful he had to be written out of the plot. You never actually see him in control of his Stand and they still wrote him out.

I'll grant Kira was bad ass as well, but the entire arc seemed like it had little to no direction and more often than not the "sub stories" focused on the side characters instead of Josuke.

No other arc is like that. And that's the reason I disliked it.

No, It's not that I didn't like Josuke. His Stand is one of the stronger ones excluding the Time manipulators and Gold Experience Requiem.

It's the fact that instead of focusing on the Joestar of the arc, it focuses on his friends.

There is NO emotional attachment to Josuke. Hell you feel more for the antagonist than the protagonist.

I'm also suprized at how much I've been marked down by fanboys. Can't even read my original comment anymore.

In many of today´s animes tactic and careful thinking is shoved aside to just characters with plot armor that suddenly win the fight because they get a new power in the middle of the fight the worst offender being bleach IMO

They don´t even fight at full strenght half of the time and leave a comatose Ichigo alive many times only for him to get more powerful JUST BEACAUSE and beat their asses.

There´s just no tension in today´s shonen anime. Watch Jojo´s anime or read the manga and you´ll get the feeling that if they make a tiny screwup they are dead, main character or not.

In addition, they refuse to kill off anyone that isn't a villain, so you end up with a boring-as-hell invincible hero that you know will never truly be in any danger. By contrast, in JJBA, anyone can die, including the protagonist (see: Part 6 and Steel Ball Run)

@Argosaxelcaos I think a large part of this comes from the set-up JoJo has. Each Part focuses on a different cast of characters and has a huge ensemble to give page time to. This allows Araki to make sure the plot moves forward properly without having to provide plot armor to anyone in particular (except maybe JoJo). If someone dies, the other heroes can just move on with the plot without him and even if there's a TPK, the series can still continue on to the next Part largely unaffected.
