There is a 14 day trial, you do have to log a card that is charged after 14 days. If you pick the lowest per month price, you are charged for a full 6 months at one time. You can add a tree and search over 400 databases all for free. It's useful mostly to those in the U.S. and Europe, but they are getting more records everyday. It's all based on that country's privacy laws. It's not a scam, people. It's not just for white people. And it's in no way Bullshit.
i wanted to sign up for monthly with paypal and they charged a whole years worth, luckily we got a refund but now my family is weary of signing up wtf!

Step 1 should say "PAY ME!". Unless you subscribe to the payed version you are pretty much neutered at doing anything other than typing in names.
