I remember the first time I heard this song. It was on one of those "double days" or whatever the fuck on my respective radio station, and I knew the Temptations version, but I heard this version for the first time on my way to court in a corrupt shithole of a town for underage drinking. And the stones inspired me TELL THE JUDGE WHAT WAS WHAT! Of course, I did three days in jail after that, but I've lived my life differently ever since. And we have Keef and his shitty solo to thank for that!

It's not a vocal band, but a band driven by both drums, vocal, guitar, backup vocal, saxofon, bass & more, It's not some sort of vocal band like Beatles or Temptations. Don't get me wrong their version (original) is very sensitiv and well played, but it's like to diffrent bands and 2 diffrent ways to play you really can't compare it to be honest :)

Back in those days, too much emphasis was placed on things like guitar solos and the "guitar god virtuoso" thing (when punk came around, that all changed) instead of what was best suited to the individual song. I think a short, simple solo fits this tune just right.
