I grew up with Spongebob. I am 19 and like to watch reruns of the old episodes and the other day I watched one new episode about Plankton dressing up as his grandma and I didn't laugh once. I was actually looking forward to the ending of the episode! I also noticed how Spongebob's voice, look, and personality changed, especially if you compare him to the first few seasons.

Spongebob is not the same anymore. Even look at the show's songs, remember the F.U.N. Song, Sweet Victory, Ripped Pants, and the Goofy Goober Song? Now there's "Jelly Lelly Lelly Jelly" and Patrick's song that he wrote. These songs are terrible and have no rhyme. And the show is so much less quotable than it was before. No use complaining, but today's kids are really missing out on the glory days of Spongebob.
