Good observation Nasruldeen. I think you hit it on the nose by saying the dajjal would be tampered with genetically. Cloning and stem cell research are two of the biggest things going on in science today. I also think the antichrist will be created in a lab with a surrogate mother.

i would like to note that i read a hadith, that said that he would be son of man. another hadith where the prophet and sahaba go out to watch for a young boy, who may be the dajjal, wouldnt that be indication to that he is human, perhaps tampered with genetically?

Dont u remember of the Hadith by Tamim ul Dari.
When he went and saw dajjal on an Island tied by chains.
