Hey saw a picture of your completed back piece in the Feb issue of skin deep where they had a 40 great back pieces section yours came in at #9 congrats
@brqk3n Yes everyone heals a bit differently ,I agree, but I think the areas one gets tattooed are the real deciding factor in healing.... like the inside of elbow heals way different than the shoulder cause elbow skin stretches daily. Basically the places that the skin stretches a lot could do well with ointments but on some recent tats, I've stopped using ointments and have noticed a big difference in healing speed. Take a tat that is healing well (no blowouts) and give it a shot!
@freemind321 Perhaps. But i've healed over 100 hours of tattoos like this and it works well for me. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, you know. But im happy to hear you've found a way to heal yourself better. But my skin is dry as fuck right now and I need some aquaphor really bad. Im going to put some on right this moment, actually. :)
Cool finished product. Can't wait to see the leg.... Or more or less another person crazy enough to get the knee and back of knee tattooed ! Looking forward to updates.
@freemind321 yeah, dont remind me. Hehe. I am NOT looking forward to both of those spots. So far I have a little on the side of the knee and that sucked. My girlfriend has both knee caps solid and she said they sucked, big time.
Hey Lucas,Ive got a quick question for you.I'm about 15 hours or so into my sleeve and it has been around 1 month since my last session and i have a few odd bumps on one part of my arm(Lower Forearm)Ive been putting Mupirocin and neosporn on them for 4 days and it has been improving.Any Ideas what this could be? They had white heads on them and they itched,i was thinking ingrown hairs. Thanks for your time :) PS:I was at the seventh son year of the dragon gallery and was hoping to see you there.
@Motokid194 Yeah, those may be ingrown hairs, or it could be that your skin doesnt like that particular brand. You may consider switching to another healing ointment. I use aquaphor.
And I was totally there! It was super packed so I can see how you could have missed me. Maybe ill see you at their next show. :) Thanks for the comment.
@brqk3n Thanks for the fast reply!! I do use aquaphor for my healing it had been healed for about 3 or so weeks now and i just noticed the bumps tuesday. And that's when i started to put the other ointments on it. Yeah man ill see you there sometime,Thinking about doing a biomech sleeve on my left arm in the next few months (I need to finish my right arm first haha).
@Motokid194 no problem. :) I was on my tablet and it alerts me when I get a new email, so I saw you commented and replied. Biomech sleeve eh? Well, you know who to talk to for that then. Just don't take up too much of Jeff's time! hehe.
@YourTypicalGeek Tell me about it. Isn't my body just absolutely disgusting? Women constantly come up to me to tell me how horrible I look. I really need to do something about that, huh?
