I think you spread some very good ideas. Giving back to the community is a great idea. Christian churches are constantly giving out food and clothing for homeless here. I agree with many of the things you say and I've been reading and studying various religions on the web. I was raised as a christian, but I think we all worship the same god. I am very interested in the jewish perspective of things. I would be interested to hear your perspective on certain hebrew words including Elohim.

I think we need to be careful too. We should come about such things moderatley, not flamboyantly the way christians do. No preaching on street corners, no televangelism, etc. But yeah, stepping up would be good, but moderately.

Like, in addition to doing mitzvot, helping people, etc, we can also explain to people why we do them, and offer them spiritual advice and things of that sort.

Funny you say practice what you preach. That's my problem with judaism. So many jews are leftist and think that open borders, uncontrolled immigration, and so called "diversity" is good for the west. Wow! That is the greatest speech on Judaism I have every heard. Now, if you could convince the Rabbis of my community of this. Many of the Shuls in my area (including my own) are literally dying off. Why? As my Rabbi, of blessed memory put it "This isn't a Jewish Neighborhood any longer". The concept of converting non Jews is almost Alien to the Rabbis in power now.
