@Jzeman11 KB's make really good power on every other mustang besides the 96-98 cobras. This is due to the fact that they do not sell an intercooler for these years. I really wanted to put a kb on mine and i still might since it will be a street car, im just not sure yet. I might put it on any ways and run low boost with some meth. KB is great for a street driven car, but if your looking for power on a 96-98 cobra go turbo or centri. Bheads have insane flow.
just wanna ask u if ur sure its a true cobra cuz as far as i know cobras have their 3rd brake light on the spolier not the trunk. just sayin cuz i have a 94 and i was told its a gt not a cobra. nice car by the way. love the wheels
@chuygordo1 94-95 Cobra's had the brake light in the wing. 96-98 Cobra's do not. It's pretty easy to tell if you have a Cobra. Brakes, bumpers, white faced gauges, ect.....
@drksdecobra whats your compression ratio? 8.5:1? did you have it dynoed before and after you rebuilt it because i would like to know how much horsepower you lost due to low compression?
@TheBopop Not really sure if I lost any power dues to all the upgrades. Compression 9:1. No dyno results yet...recession. Car would def have tons more power with stock comp, but wanna run big boost on pump gas!
@09tattedup the 1996 Cobra has about 60hp more than the 1994 Cobra... Myself, I would buy the 96 over the 94 if I had the choice. And its not just because of the horsepower contrast. The 96 is a more advanced Mustang, period.
bad ass! i have a 95 cobra and am changing the hood, tail lights, and rear bumper to the 96. it looks hot. mines is black as well. have the cobra r wheels

did you build that motor so you could boost it later on or just to be more reliable for DD? what pistons rods etc. did you use?

@drksdecobra not really stock compression is only 9.85:1 you lose 3% power ofr each point of compression.

they are a BBS wheel, cant remember what kind but they look sick on cobras
