To everybody who is complaining that he "killed his own father", he didn't. This was the final Jedi trial in order to become a Jedi Knight, which is to confront your inner demons. What he was fighting was the spirit of his father. When he saw his 2 father figures dueling, he naturally went to save Vader, who had been there all his life. By defeating his dad, he finally regains his repressed memories of his father and in the process becomes a Jedi. This sets in motion his redemption.
This is just a set up by Darth Vader. Starkillers father is not real. Its cool to see Coruscant though, definitely one of my favourite planets. It really should be included properly though in Episodes 4,5 and
6. But they didn't have the technology at the time.
Not to be a nerd or anything but in the Star Wars Extended Edition of episode 6 (Return of the Jedi) does introduce Coruscant and has people cheering and knocking down a statue of Palpatine. :)
