Yes the laryngeal mask and the larygeal tube shown here are actuially quite simple - but not foolproof !! So much practice on an airway mannikin and then close supervision by an anesthesiologist or ED physician is essential before it can be performed in real life. I will show in future clips the use of the even simpler pharyngeal airway & nasophayngeal airways being uitilized to help achieve an open airway.
