@05raissa Ordinary polish remover works just fine, but I find that a regular top coat smears the image. I haven't tried the Konad top coat, though :)

Wow, you're a pro at this! I'm tryint to perfect my technique still even after 6 months of owning it. It seems like when I press really hard it scrapes too much away. I kind of lightly let it the scraper glide over and that's been working better. Cute nails!

Some people say they can use regular polish but I find it completely impossible. The Konad polish is thicker than regular polish, so it picks up on the stamper :D

Some people can get regular polish to work, but I haven't been able to at ALL. I have to use the Konad special polish or I'm SOL. Thanks!

I've heard that chrome/metallic polishes work really well on konad. Hope this helps you! :D

i ordered a konad stamping kit and 2 plates- followed your vid and to the t- i still cant get the whole image to fully get on the stamper- it sucks!! i guess i'm just not pressing down hard enough on the image plate

Aww yeah sometimes it can be a real pain, it's totally not fool proof at all. That's the only bad thing about it, the picture usually doesn't pick up 100% :(

I have the Konad system too and I've found that if you press with light/normal pressure it picks up the whole image. If you press down too hard it actually picks up less of the image! Try just pressing down normally/lightly and just for 1-2 seconds, that picks up the whole image for me :)

I know you're not an expert and neither an I. I bought this from a garage sale and it did'nt come with a scraper. What is your scraper made out of and what would you say a good alternative be? Secondly, have you ever tried using regular nail polish? What is the difference? I think they start at about 40 dollars and I got mine for under 2 bucks. SCORE!!!

I'm not candy but I'll answer for her, if you don't have a scraper a razor blade will work just fine.

As to regular nail polish it can be used, but the colors aren't going to be as vibrant and for real the konad polish dries in milliseconds while regular polish you would need to wait on.

I second what revengemakeup said, try a razor blade. I personally can't get any regular polish to pick up on the stamper at all, so I really suggest the special polish. I'm gonna make an overview video soon and cover all of this :D
