Honestly out of all the colored lenses, these are the best for brown eyes hands down. Mel looks nice but these look more believable. People keep shaking their heads at people who wear blue or green lenses because they often look off. Green is more believable but this color is a brownish green gray, pretty much hazel. It really enhances your color without taking away from it. I've always gone for the lighter ones but I think I'm better off with these. :)

Hi, I finally bought Solotica OCRE lenses (& mels). It took like 10 days from WRLens...they were pretty good about giving me track info and you get to follow it via US Postal tracking too! Anyway, I was extremely impressed with the OCREs - finally a color contact that blends in well with my brown eye. MELS are nice too but only in dark. In sun light you can tell my brown eye is too much showing through pupil. But the ocres are incredible. Make my eyes grayish-greenish-brown. Very nice..!!!!!!!!!

Are these definitely Hidrocors and not NCs? Because the iris with the contact has a limbal ring (dark outer ring), which I didn't think there was with the Hidrocors - so is that the contact or your natural limbal ring showing through? thanks xx

I have one of these over here in Brazil (HIDROCOR), the results are really good and in my opinion these are the less fake contacts I've ever seen...

THE THING IS...

Because they're anual, if you wear it for a long time, you're eyes gonna get red and red ...

The color here in ur video looks like what MEL will look like on DARK brown eyes. I just got my 1st soloticas ocre and they don`t look like that. I got lighter eyes (light brown/hazel-ish) but anyways I love them. They made a subtle change and look so natural, the MOST natural contacts I`ve ever tried. Now I`ve ordered Mels to see what they will look like but I think ocre (even though the change is subtle) is the most natural on dark brown eyes (unless u prefer a huge change).

most of the stuff made in canada or US are approved based on the fact that they do less harm for us i guess......these lenses are amazing! but after 8 hours of wearing them ur eyes feel suffocated and they look it too cuz they look really red...but that never stopped me from buying two pairs! LOL

brazil just doesnt care about peoples health i guess...and thank god for that :P these lenses are amazing!!

- They are annual, but with good care/hygiene/not too intensive wear, they can last for years.

- As annual lenses, hence more durable, they are generally thicker than monthly disposable lenses. They might require some getting used to. Sleeping with them is not advised to avoid eye irritation/cornea scratches/infections/dryness.

- It's the curvature of the eye/lens

- Normally lenses come in different "sizes", i.e. different base curves (BC) and diameters (D), but these lenses only come with a standard set of parameters (BC=8.7, D=14.2) so that they fit most (or average size) irises.

- You do not need to show prescription to order these lenses, but yes normally you should know your own eye measurements to ensure comfort & avoid problems such as sliding/blurry vision...

Theoretically, as these lenses are translucent,

blue + yellow = green ;-)

I'm intrigued, I'd love to see a blue eye with the Mel on!

BUT the thing with these lenses is that you can't know for sure what your result will look like, unless you try them...

Also, if your eyes are greenish blue as you've told me before, this lens will probably enhance the green in your eyes even more. This might look gorgeous - as long as it doesn't turn out too intense(yellowish-green) for your taste... xx

the ocres look greenish brownish on you. but how come they look grey on some ppls eyes, so weird, I have seen same contacts on ppl (hidrocor ocre) that looks grey but on u its like a nice shade of hazelish color.....

I think they can look more greyish on darker eyes.

They are semi-opaque, this is why they appear different on different people. Their color mixes/blends with the natural eyecolor underneath, leading to a different/unique result! Follows the color-mixing theory, LOL! This is why I love these lenses, you do not feel them "fake", but natural, thanks to their translucency :-)

The truth is, these 2 are not too different in terms of lightness.

But they are diff. in terms of shade.

If you want green, go for Mel.

If you want a greyish/hazel honey-brown

like Nicole Richie's eyes, Ocre is the one. ;-)

Hmm, these 2 have ended up being my two fav. pairs,

I like mels for their green shade,

and ocres for the fact that I can wear them so confidently &comfortably even amongst people that "know" my real eyes; subtle change, yet effective.

My eyes are a med.brown with just a little bit of green/hazel, have a look at my "Solótica Lenses Collection" Video, for some pics.

If your eyes are darker, mels may turn into a nice olive green, ocres into a greyish/hazel shade similar to mine...

Keep in mind that Viallure shows the prices

of individual lenses,

whereas Lentesdecontato shows them as pairs.

BOTH SHOW THE PRICES IN BRAZILIAN CURRENCY (REALS R$).

For around 42 USD per pair,

I don't think they're expensive at all for annual lenses,

You are beautiful, of course. Ok, I had a question. As you know, many contact lenses might look real from afar.... but then as you shake the person's hand, or talk to them up-close, you can see (quite cleary) that they're wearing colored contacts. And, you can even see the little color pixels and everything. Is it same situation with your brand?? With Solotica? Thanks:-)

Solotica's pattern is super fine, blends so softly and

seamlessly with your own eye that it's totally undetectable.

Also the pupil hole is so "feathered"

that you never have this "robotic" look to your eyes

Both Ocre and Mel are ideal for a subtle change;

they work like effective enhancers on brown eyes!

Ocre if you want a hazel color,

Mel if you want a honey-green. :)
