He sings a lot different than he talks (or at least how he spoke when we were in the 8th grade lol) I'm glad to see him doing well, I know he worked really really hard at his music all his life.  Nobody deserves it more than Brad.

I've never met anybody in my life so fiercely into music...if someone came into school with a shirt of some obscure band he'd go up and assault them like "Where did YOU hear of THEM!? Name two of their old songs!! You only like them now that they're mainstream!" lol He was a trip.

Bradford cox is great imo. Talented, modest, prolific and generous with his music. its not always been easy having marfan syndrome and getting so much abuse over the years about his appearance. good on him. Everything hes released in the last 2-3 years has been great

Of course bands aren't going to sound the same live as the do in the studio. In the studio, the band gets to relax; if they make a mistake, they can go back and fix it; they can listen to each instrument attentively and check if it's perfect; that whole mumbo-jumbo. When you're playing live, you're just playing with what you can and hope all goes well.
