Please opt out America! If you do not stand up now - bend over! This is our chance! You are talking for millions of Americans! We are depending on you to show our protest! If you allow this then what is their next step? Treating our elderly like criminals! Muslims do not have to take off their head gear & TSA can not touch it! It may make Thanksgiving tough but it is about giving & not the taking ALL OF THE TIME! It is about us not just you! THIS IS OUR CHANCE TO SAY NO!
What about those poor people that Have been Gropped and touched TSA? Explain that! "It's in the name of saftey" Ok well tell me why a seven year old had to take his shirt off to be searched in plain view! Or the poor lady that had a prosthetic boob, or the 61 year old man that "you" busted his urine bag and he sat their in a room with piss on him! Huh! Explain that! Either change the policy, or Americans will rebel! I'm not going to fly to be patted down by a sexual offender or some Perp.
These green gloves used by the TSA searchers. They are to protect the TSA employee from such things as MRSA, which is highly contagious and can easily be transferred from one person to the next ON THESE GLOVES. DEMAND THEY CHANGE THEIR GLOVES IF THEY PLAN TO TOUCH YOU.
Idiots. They cant see your face and they delete your picture. Submit to it and go.
Because terror groups now seek to use plastic explosives, the US has now adopted these scanners which can see objects that are not part of the human body or normal clothing. They choose not to take the cockpit. A hole in the side of the plane will cause it to crash.
@thewhytetiga San Diego. Again. Yesterday a man stripped to his underwear, after refusing the scanner. He did so in an effort to avoid the hand's on search too. He turned his I-pod camera on to record what ensured. He was instructed to put his clothes back on so he could be properly searched. What?????? He was also arrested for refusing to do that. Ostensibly he was arrested for videotaping the incident. Please let me know if you find a link to this video. Thanks.
@thewhytetiga I also read your comment. Are you insane too? We are looking for explosives in underwear. That is insane enough, but we have added technology that will not detect explosives inserted into the body. Either surgically inserted, or through one of the 7 body apertures. How you going to do that?
I don't like the idea of being exposed to increased amounts of radiation having my body scanned but in terms of the tough security I'd rather go through the discomfort of being pat down than the discomfort of being blown up.
@adelelles Read what I wrote---I said I wouldn't want to be body scanned because of the radiation but that I support increased security through pat-downs.Sure it's not pleasant being patted down but there are plenty of people who would like to blow up airplanes and if this prevents that, its a minor inconvenience to submit to.
@kerala78 A minor inconvenience? How does having a child getting molested or a women's breasts being fondled protect you from terrorism? Your justification for this form of abuse is twisted and sick.
@kerala78 Plenty of people who want to blow up airplanes? Correct, our own government, and that's about it.
The Christmas Day underwear bomber was ushered onto the plane by a "sharp dressed man". Research Michigan attorney Kurt Haskell and his wife who were on the plane and witnessed it all. YOUTUBE SEARCH: Kurt Haskell
I work as food vendor in the airport and as I take my snacks into the security areas to sell to the passengers waiting for their flights, I see men, women, and children getting groped and felt up In front of everyone. I dread the day they start doing it to me. I go through security 20 times a day. Does that mean I have to my ass and dick and balls felt up all day long over and over every day just to work at my job? I'll file a sexual harassment suit against my employer when that happens.
Bravo to John Tyner. It takes people with guts to push the envelope. More Americans need to channel the fortitude of our founding fathers and stop rolling over when Uncle Sam wants to assert his dominance.
This is a BAD idea. All it's going to do is hold up security lines while many people are traveing the day before Thanksgiving. Many people will most likely be waiting in line for a lot of extra time and probably many will miss their flights because of this protest. If you want to protest TSA, that's fine, but don't interfere with the schedules of other people in doing so.
@MatxoMan No, it will prevent people from being abe to visit their families and have to wait in line. TSA is NOT getting away with murder, however, I'm not against protesting their policies. I just think it's selfish to hold up people who just want to get home and see their families because you're ticked off with TSA's policies. Just remember this isn't TSA's fault, it's the radical Muslims who go around trying to blow up planes that create this.
@dunkelfier yea, I agree with patroller. It's just as selfish for them to want me to give up my freedom as for me to block theirs. They could have gotten to the airport a day early, if they were really concerned.
@MotesTV They don't want you to give up your freedom. Why should they have to wait at the airport for a day because you feel like protesting (personally I agree that TSA is going overboard, but I'd never deliberately try to block other people from gettng to their families to protest). Seriously, think about the definition of 'selfish' and ask 'is it selfish to deliberately cause people to wait in line or even miss flights because of this?'
@patroller4u Selfish? I think that people who want to go see their loved ones for Thanksgiving should be able to without having to wait in long lines and possibly miss their flights over some protesters, and I'm selfish? Maybe the people protesting should ask themselves how their actions will impact people who just want to go visit their families.
@MotesTV Everyone is selfish to some degree. I'd say the people who protested (turns out there were very few and travelers weren't held up, thank God) who intended on holding up the lines were more selfish. Granted, TSA should change their policies I agree, we must remember that this isn't TSA's fault. The fault lies with the extremist Muslims who savagely try to kill innocent people. We need to eradicate the extremists, that would solve everything.
@dunkelfier Extreme is an opinion. I think our fear of the muslims is what has damaged us. Since, 9/11 I believe all pilots now carry pistols. I believe that is enough to deter the threat of a hijacking.
@dunkelfier Man, just opening the emergency exit while a plane is passing through a cold front could cause it to crash. Point being it's just a fact of life that any of us could decide to commit suicide and take a few others with us...just a fact of life. Letting others kill without being killed is what is preventable. All in all, you really just can't live your life being scared, commit to peace and others won't be attracted to suicide, try to rule by an ironfist and your arms will want to die.
@MotesTV I don't disagree with anything you just said. You'll notice I never once said I agree with what TSA is doing. I'm just saying, I disagree with blaming everything on TSA, radical Islam along with anyone else who tries to kill people on planes are the people at fault and deserve 100% of the blame for these ridiculious policies. I also disagree with the Opt Out day, the point of which was to hold up lines to protest, resulting in people missing their flights, that's not a good thing.
I disagree with your lack of verve for reducing inefficient and ineffective government control. There's no reason to hurt someone not causing you harm, but the TSA is causing mental damage to the populace. I would protest by not flying on commercial airlines using TSA. I think the real issue here is airspace. I believe it was held prior to the inception of the FAA that Cuius est solum, eius est usque ad caelum et ad inferos, or that a landowner owned his air above him. I see that as legitimate.
I think it should be reinstated and companies should be forced to bargain with the landowners for contracts to acquire or lease the air rights from them. Instead, the USA just said it was impractical for the development of air travel...blah,blah,blah, we let big corporations do what they want. I mean, if you live in an area were plans constantly fly over, that's an annoyance and you should be compensated. Then whoever owns the air rights would be responsible for security of that air.
Right now, the federal government claims all air rights and delegates those rights to commercial airlines, and so the responsibility of air security falls lawfully with the federal government. That's the problem, because it's too much air for one entity to secure. Point and case 9/11. Try to see my point, if people, individuals were responsible, we could enjoy real security, but it takes work from everyone.
@MotesTV Airspace is different, most people lack the ability to regulate it. As for security and your theory that if people were more responsible we could enjoy real security, I agree 100%. I also agree with your method of protesting by not flying on airlines patrolled by TSA. But National Opt Out day goes a step beyond that, their GOAL was not to simply not fly on those airlines, but to prevent other people from flying too by holding up lines at airports.
A better question would be, when was the last time TSA stopped an attack? Every one of them have been stopped by passengers.
TSA is worthless. Even I have inadvertently gotten "weapons"(nail file, keychain leatherman, full sized leatherman, pocket knife) on board planes since 9/11.
I know I am a sexy beast, but I don't want the TSA to store naked photographs of me on their servers. So, in spite of their recent change in security protocols, I am going to take an aphrodisiac this Wednesday the 24th before I fly out to New York. I will welcome their pat down with open arms and a "stiff" hopes that they take me out to dinner before hand. Please, TSA, please respect me in the morning! Me love you long time!
PLEASE DONT FLY!!!!! IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE PLEASE TAKE THE TRAIN OR BUS, I DO THIS AND I LOVE IT. YOUR NAKED BODY WILL BE STORED AND GOD KNOWS WHO WILL HAVE ACCESS. THE PAT DOWN IS A FULL FLEDGED SEXUAL ASSAULT. PLEASE DONT LET YOU OR YOUR CHILDREN, PARENTS, SIBLINGS OR ANYONE BE ASSAULTED. thank you and please join the movement
The real protest should be at your local DHS field office. The TSA are like the goombas and the real people everyone should protest/yell at are the Bowsers.* I'd say most would rather NOT have to feel up strangers. They are following orders which I hope upon hope one of them stands up to their bosses and yells, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!" then quits in front of a huge crowd.
*See Super Mario Brothers if you don't get the references.
@litoariel DONT FLY, if You can please dont fly, I use to fly but have taken the bus 5 years and I love it. please dont fly if u dont have to. The pat downs are even worse, my friend was in tears after she had her breasts and butt squeezed and pushed and pressed. She was a rape victim and terrified and is having some serious trouble dealing with this. PLEASE DONT FLY, THIS GOES FOR ALL WHO CAN
We decided the best route after the opt out is to embarrass the TSA worker. As they touch your inner thigh, moan loudly "Ohhh, Yessss!" If he touches yours, you touch his. "You can dish it out, but can you take it as well?" As they slap on the handcuffs, "Oh, you kinky boy! Let's go to the back room, where we can share full cavity searches!"
I've heard that its the choice of that particular busy fly day, will turn other American's against anyone who is taking part in this. We need American's to be joined together in this issue. Its the choice of day that is objectionable. I do agree with the opt out of this Control grab of this Gov. If American's tolerate this, what won't they. Israel has been securing their airport for over 40 years, without using these methods, we need to learn from them.
this is another way to get us all to stop moving about and be easier to control. F**k flying and the pedophiles that now can feel up our kids and grandmas.
I have a better idea. Opt Out Of Flying Period if you can drive or take a bus or train. The TSA is already destroying our freedoms and to date, they have not caught one terrorist while hassling everyday travelers. The real terrorists get around everything these bungling idiots do. The TSA is not only destroying our freedoms, they are destroying the airlines industry as many people are already Opting Out of Flying. Maybe that is the real aim of the Obama Regime. To Nationalize Airlines??
Well I don't have to fly for awhile but maybe I will have to next year. I will remember to Opt out. My mom and a friend I have in Florida sometimes fly.
It's 'us' against 'them'--and the government itself. I'm embarrassed to be "American" when it's 'alright'--to have anyone groping me, my wife or my children, telling them they must appear naked before the Emperor's minions. The rational way to solve the problem is to demand a Declaration of Peace upon the world and take away any reason to harm an innocent Citizen. Respect the 2nd Amendment--yes, even on airplanes, and we could again be "free" people, instead of ignorant tax cattle.
@adelelles I think you should be a bit more respecting even if it is obvious it's a kid. The fact that a kid is interested in their rights being violated and watching a video like this is a good thing. Don't try to embarrass them and shame them away.
People wonder why kids don't care anymore. Maybe it's because when they start to, people like you try to push them away and make them feel like idiots. They wonder why they don't respect their elders. If you don't respect them, why would they?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
As you are opting out on that day i will probably get to sit anywhere i want to on the plane. And I will get there for thanksgiving as you are waiting in line to rebook your flight cause you were waiting in line
@Angels1stKiss There's more too it then that. And Opting out doesn't really take longer. It's just a person searching you instead of going through an x-ray machine. If you want your naked x-ray image in the machine for who knows how long, feel free to make that choice. It's yours to make.
They should ban all people who have ever had some form of martial arts training as well since they may be able to take over a plan with their bare hands!
(Note to those who are oblivious:this was obviously sarcastic)
@ceasey0xoogurl Why bankrupt the airlines, it's the airports and government that set up these body scanners, as well as the government setting up the enhanced pat downs.. continue to reject the body scanners and refuse the pat down at all cost
@lzbobo128 Sadly this is not realistic. How many people will drop hundreds of dollars on flight tickets and refuse both? They'll get detained and miss the flights.
@lzbobo128 well your right, but if people refuse to fly then the airlines won't be so excited about these body scanners anymore; there will be pressure to do something else. did you see the guy who recorded his encounter with security when he refused the pat down and scanner? he didn't even refuse the pat down, he just said, "don't touch my junk or i'll have you arrested.." now he's getting charged a 10k fine!
@ceasey0xoogurl They did threaten him with the "$10,000" fine and more in security, but in the end he got out and got his ticket refunded. People needn't be afraid to stand up for themselves.
@lzbobo128 Actually airports don't HAVE to use TSA they can get private contractors who have been found to be slightly more effective and the government will still pay for the security.
Obama knows best.

TSA doesn't have these scanners at our mass-transit rail systems, or our porous borders which poses a much greater risk.
It needs to come to light that before TSA, Geo. Soros bought many shares in the company that makes the scanners.

I have a better idea than simply opting out.
If enough people do it nationwide then it will cause utter chaos and force TSA to stop their unconstitutional actions.
1. Buy a refundable plane ticket, it doesn't matter what the destination is.
2. If selected for a body scan--opt out. (if not selected go directly to step 4)
3. Refuse the pat down.
4. Return to ticket desk for a refund.
5. Rinse & repeat ad nauseum. (probably best not to repeat the same day or the same airline)

great idea, if enough people will bravely do this it will force change on behalf of American citizens that do not want to be treated like cattle.

I'm going to OPT-OUT!!!! All Day!!!
litoariel 1 year ago
@litoariel DONT FLY, if You can please dont fly, I use to fly but have taken the bus 5 years and I love it. please dont fly if u dont have to. The pat downs are even worse, my friend was in tears after she had her breasts and butt squeezed and pushed and pressed. She was a rape victim and terrified and is having some serious trouble dealing with this. PLEASE DONT FLY, THIS GOES FOR ALL WHO CAN
farziran87 1 year ago
We decided the best route after the opt out is to embarrass the TSA worker. As they touch your inner thigh, moan loudly "Ohhh, Yessss!" If he touches yours, you touch his. "You can dish it out, but can you take it as well?" As they slap on the handcuffs, "Oh, you kinky boy! Let's go to the back room, where we can share full cavity searches!"

Transportation security MY ASS!! Call them the Totalitarian Slave Agency. That is a better description of what they are.

F**k flying and the pedophiles that now can feel up our kids and grandmas.
meria 1 year ago
All the men passengers need to wear Kilts in the traditional way with no underwear, that'll make the TSA uncomfortable to perform a groping pat down.

My mom and a friend I have in Florida sometimes fly.
imaginepeace63 1 year ago
It's 'us' against 'them'--and the government itself. I'm embarrassed to be "American" when it's 'alright'--to have anyone groping me, my wife or my children, telling them they must appear naked before the Emperor's minions. The rational way to solve the problem is to demand a Declaration of Peace upon the world and take away any reason to harm an innocent Citizen. Respect the 2nd Amendment--yes, even on airplanes, and we could again be "free" people, instead of ignorant tax cattle.

@Angels1stKiss Go watch a Katy Perry video and let the adults discuss this serious matter.
adelelles 1 year ago 3
@adelelles I think you should be a bit more respecting even if it is obvious it's a kid. The fact that a kid is interested in their rights being violated and watching a video like this is a good thing. Don't try to embarrass them and shame them away.
People wonder why kids don't care anymore. Maybe it's because when they start to, people like you try to push them away and make them feel like idiots. They wonder why they don't respect their elders. If you don't respect them, why would they?

As you are opting out on that day i will probably get to sit anywhere i want to on the plane. And I will get there for thanksgiving as you are waiting in line to rebook your flight cause you were waiting in line
Angels1stKiss 1 year ago
@Angels1stKiss There's more too it then that. And Opting out doesn't really take longer. It's just a person searching you instead of going through an x-ray machine. If you want your naked x-ray image in the machine for who knows how long, feel free to make that choice. It's yours to make.

They should ban all people who have ever had some form of martial arts training as well since they may be able to take over a plan with their bare hands!

Let's bankrupt the airlines until they abandon the scanners; not only is it radiation its a fear of security that is an illusion
ceasey0xoogurl 1 year ago
@ceasey0xoogurl Why bankrupt the airlines, it's the airports and government that set up these body scanners, as well as the government setting up the enhanced pat downs.. continue to reject the body scanners and refuse the pat down at all cost
lzbobo128 1 year ago 2
@lzbobo128 Sadly this is not realistic. How many people will drop hundreds of dollars on flight tickets and refuse both? They'll get detained and miss the flights.
yojimbo81 1 year ago
@lzbobo128 well your right, but if people refuse to fly then the airlines won't be so excited about these body scanners anymore; there will be pressure to do something else. did you see the guy who recorded his encounter with security when he refused the pat down and scanner? he didn't even refuse the pat down, he just said, "don't touch my junk or i'll have you arrested.." now he's getting charged a 10k fine!
ceasey0xoogurl 1 year ago
@ceasey0xoogurl They did threaten him with the "$10,000" fine and more in security, but in the end he got out and got his ticket refunded. People needn't be afraid to stand up for themselves.
dreamcore 1 year ago 13
@lzbobo128 Actually airports don't HAVE to use TSA they can get private contractors who have been found to be slightly more effective and the government will still pay for the security.
