I agree and personally never liked the combo of Van Hagar. It under rated Sammy's abilities which all Montrose fans and Sammy Hagar (the red rocker) fans know he rocked like a MF alone. David Lee Roth did have great stage moves. It's too bad his singing voice just blows. The guitars on Van Halen records obviously hold up as do Sammy Hagar's vocals; David Lee Roth's vocals on record are pretty painful to listen to.
