The only movie that actually made me cry, every time i watch this movie im getting tears in the end. This movie should've won the Oscar for the best film in that year.
This movie is amazing. I loved this movie. I thought it was very creative. I think this is the only movie I remember Brad Pitt playing with a black woman in.
@kerron68 stfu, watch the fucking movie before reading the damn comments dumbass . alot more ppl said stuff about the movie so go sit yo ass down somewhere . oh, and your welocome, yes he did die, as a baby . and the love of his life ,got married ,to another man . there, now i really ruined it .
@nasssira3008 no one gives a damn if you cried you emotional attention-seeking asshole. ..fyi, already seen it so u can blabber away u jackass. what a retard - lol.
The music is actually by composer Camille Saint-Saens. From his musical suite The Carnival of the Animals, movement VII: The Aquarium. The music has been used several different places over the years, including the opening of Terrence Malick's Days of Heaven.
This film was made in 2008. Only three years ago. How the hell did Brad Pitt look so young towards the end of the film?? Make up can not make a man in his late 40s look like a man in is early 20s. Did they use footage from a film he was in in his younger days or somthin? It was very good how this was fimed!
The actual disease is called progeria. and unlike this movie, they don't live as long as he did. The whole age backwards is nonsense. The infant is born with the condition of a 80 year old man, then ages quicker than normal. But that doesn't mean anybody with this condition cannot be happy like this story.
In simple words, this move was great. Brad Pitt was excellent in this film and when he falls in love with Daisy, it was so moving. To be honest, Brad Pitt is very attractive and if a less better-looking man had played Benjamin in his 30/20/teens, I would not have cried half of the movie. I was crying until I ran out of tears and my eyes were swollen, and my noise was so stuffed that I could barely even blow my nose. I really recommend watching this with a close friend or family!
@lilmamahiphop12 No, he died as a young baby, practically a newborn, and died in the arms of Daisy, the mother of the baby she had given birth to (a different baby than Benjamin). It was so sad - if you haven't seen it yet, definitely watch it but if you're sensitive, you'll need a box or two of tissues (extra soft) and a garbage can... because I did.
@lilmamahiphop12 Titanic is definitely a classic and I think this movie is better, only because it hit me harder. I did cry in Titanic but not as bad as The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Both movies expressed love, and an old lady telling the story of someone they had once loved in the earlier years of their life
The only reason I love this movie is because it shows what it's like to lose someone when you haven't even lost them yet. It's compelling, heart-breaking and you will change your opinions on daisy throughout the whole film. I hated her in the middle, she was a little brat just after sex with him. Then they fell in love, and it was really beautiful. It's a strange twist, and remains one of a few films in existance to show an entire lifetime of somebody. I never knew how gentle lightening can be ;)
i am 18 years old ive been watching movies since 10 years old all the movies were the same hero save the sitution in the end but this movie is realy realy diffrent u can watch it 10 times a week without getting bored the direction of this movie is realy talented

i watched this film at work, by the end of the movie i was crying my heart out shaking and was almost sick....i had to close my shop rush home and cuddle my 1 year old son and tell my wife that i love them both so much.....for the last few days i have been crying on and off over this amazing film......i believe this movie has changed the way i look at my life and being a father to my son.....
Came upon this movie by suprise and I could not pull myself away. I was mad when he left the two of them and I shed a tear when she bent down to kiss him (at 1:35). This movie has everything. Well done.
This film is beautiful. It was the first film I proper cried at. I felt the pain, especially when her dance career ended - and how he leaves. I love this film so much.

imagine for one moment that u adopted by your family, you are growing in a orphanage and everyone think that you are a old monster that didnt intented to survive. and then you becoming younger, and younger but inside of you you are just getting older, all alone. the girl that used to be your friend when you were "old", becomes your wife, and then your "mother" and in the end your grandmother. im a man, and that is the only movie ever that im crying every time i see the end of it.
This movie is outstanding. Imagine living that life, growing younger instead of older. He played the part so well, he should have been awarded for it. This is one of my all time favorite movies!

1945 Benjamin returns home after World War II, Benjamin 59, Daisy 22 // 1947 Benjamin meets with his father one last time and the latter passes away, Benjamin 57, Daisy 24 // 1951 Benjamin surprises Daisy at New York where she has fallen in love with another man, Benjamin 53, Daisy 28 // 1957 Benjamin visits Daisy at the hospital after she broke her leg in a car accident, Benjamin 47, Daisy 34 // 1962 Daisy meets Benjamin at his mother's home and they make passionate love, Benjamin 42, Daisy 39
1963-1964 Benjamin and Daisy are about equal in physical age and at some point move in together, about 40-41 // 1968 Benjamin's and Daisy's daughter Caroline is born, Benjamin 36, Daisy 45 // 1969 Benjamin leaves his family because he continues to grow younger, Benjamin 35, Daisy 46, Caroline 1 // 1980 Benjamin returns and meets with middle-age Daisy at the dance studio, Benjamin 24, Daisy 57, Caroline 12
1991 Daisy gets a call from social workers and meets the teenage Benjamin, Benjamin 13, Daisy 68, Caroline 23 // 1999 lying in a bed Daisy teaches Benjamin how to read, Benjamin 5, Daisy 76, Caroline 31 // 2001 Daisy is walking with a cane and gives Benjamin a kiss, Benjamin 3, Daisy 78, Caroline 33 // 2003 Benjamin dies as a baby in Daisy's arms, Benjamin 1, Daisy 80, Caroline 35 // 2005 Daisy dies as an old woman in a hospital in New Orleans, Daisy 82, Caroline 37
I haven't watched this trailer in ages... I've forgotten how mystifying it was, and how excited I was to see the movie before its release. This film was truly a marvel.
And this trailer is perfect; possibly the best movie trailer I've ever seen. For a trailer, no diologue for 95% of the time while still keeping the audience completely inticed = pure art.
@rtaha93 I don't know, dude. Just from my stand point. I prefer Pitt's work today as oppose to back then, but I prefer DiCaprio's work back then as oppose to today. You can't really say who's better, can you, my friend?
@thetevinator Oh come on! Have you seen The Departed?! Thats on of Di Caprios best performances to date. Also Blood Diamond. Well lets just agree they both are fantastic actors shall we?
@thetevinator Inception was unbelievable. I saw it twice to full understand it. I think bes movie this year although i was completely caught off guard by the ghost writer. I dont know, both are really great.
@rtaha93 I unfortunately was not in love with Inception, and I didn't see The Ghost Writer. I gotta check that one out. The favorite films so far this year is Shutter Island and The Kids Are All Right.
This is one of the best movies I have ever seen. I can't even put into words how brilliant this film was. It was definitely robbed at the academy awards.
So...he's a toddler and that woman he had relations with is old. So if someone asked her, hey lady did you have sex with this toddler? What...uh, what do you say her responce should be?

WOW, me being so young at 16, but this movie was just amazing. I'm gonna try to find the book. Watching this movie again that's for sure.

Brad Pitt has made the best transition from poster boy to serious actor I have ever seen.

@thetevinator You know, wouldnt leo dicaprio be the best? I mean dont get me wrong Pitt is an excellent actor but i would say Dicaprio is better.
rtaha93 1 year ago
@rtaha93 I don't know, dude. Just from my stand point. I prefer Pitt's work today as oppose to back then, but I prefer DiCaprio's work back then as oppose to today. You can't really say who's better, can you, my friend?
thetevinator 1 year ago
@thetevinator Oh come on! Have you seen The Departed?! Thats on of Di Caprios best performances to date. Also Blood Diamond. Well lets just agree they both are fantastic actors shall we?
rtaha93 1 year ago
@rtaha93 Yes, we shall. You have your opinions, and I'll have mine. How about that?

@thetevinator We shall. Sounds good to me. Also i cant wait for inception! How about you?

@thetevinator Inception was unbelievable. I saw it twice to full understand it. I think bes movie this year although i was completely caught off guard by the ghost writer. I dont know, both are really great.
rtaha93 1 year ago
@rtaha93 I unfortunately was not in love with Inception, and I didn't see The Ghost Writer. I gotta check that one out. The favorite films so far this year is Shutter Island and The Kids Are All Right.
