NO, the cork does NOT (nor is it intended to) impart flavor to the wine. The only occasion where this occurs is one where the cork decays and deposits sediment into the wine - basically spoiling it. The cork should act as a stopper - nothing more.

no.. my anger issues are actually less hen they ever have been. i avoid my dad as much as possible cuz he gets on my nerves. im only around him whe he's sober. I express my anger in many different ways and i do not have a anger problem. Just stuggling with depression for about 3 years now. Alcoholism can be a genetic thing, right??

I mean that you are a "victim" in the sense that your adopted father's disease has affected your life (as well as all those in your family.) Alcoholism affects everyone in the drinker's family - not just the drinker. The fact that you are frustrated, angry and concerned is proof that you have been affected. The most important thing to remember: YOU ARE NOT TO BLAME IN ANY WAY.
