You have to pick Felynes with Heroics, Powder, and any useful skill you like and eat what they like depending on the felyne's preferences. They'll eventually activate the skill and you'll be able to use for the next mission.

well use longsword for loads of pain but fast death since ur hr2 ill reccomend devil slicer.

if ur looking for a slow and easy victory..bring 10 sonic bombs(plus the 2 they provide) and use lance any lance with good fire/raw damage will do blue rath lance(good fire attribute) or hermituar gunlance (wyvern fire and good raw damage) IF YUR USING LANCE MAKE SURE U HAVE GUARD+1 OR U'll BE TOSSED AROUND BY PLESSI.guard+1 can be obtained frm gravios or hermituar armour.
