My daughter's only 14 but she's just heard me playing this YouTube clip and is already humming "Hands up". Used to a seemingly remorseless diet of rap and tuneless 'hits' on MTV, she reckons her generation is being badly short changed by the music moguls who foist this 'pap' on gullible and impressionable youth. She asks where all the happy, catchy songs have gone? These words are music to my ears! I can't wait to introduce her - AT HER REQUEST - to my stash of 45s from the 60s, 70s and 80s!
