@reynaldicheok My first goal in Maple Desperados is to tell a story. If an action scene adds to that story and stems naturally from it, then there will be an action scene. I'll freely admit that most of this first episode is exposition; setting up characters that I plan to be using for quite some time. The main character isn't even supposed to know how to fight yet.. Which makes it rather difficult to have him in too many action scenes. Stick around and there will be plenty of action eventually.

@MasterFhyl There are plenty of maple animators who focus exclusively on action over plot.. Many of whom are better animators than I'll ever be.. If a story like this isn't for you (and it may not be) then I'd highly recommend checking one of them out, because there are some really talented people out there.. I'm just a guy with a story I want to tell @_@

Sweeeet, I'm pretty interested to see where this goes. Awesome animation, can't wait for the next one.

Just a little editing advice, you could have made the scene transitions a little smoother, plus the first song you used was a little "blunt" I personally would have used something a little more subtle to build up tension.

Still, I am really looking forward to the next one.

(And a glimpse of the future.. *hint* *hint*) TBH I didn't do any editing at all for this.. I probably should have, but I never did it for any of my older vids, and I really just wanted to get it out here cause I was sick of working on it @_@

@kirodragon12 I've been busy >< got a bachelors degree in 2 years then spent a while depressed.. I will be updating this series regularly though (the second part of this episode is about 3/4 done.)

@MasterFhyl I'll admit, Baten Kaitos origins isn't quite as good as the original...you only get 3 characters for the whole game!! But if you get the chance to play it, I don't see why not--it is Baten Kaitos, after all. But the first Baten Kaitos..that's one of my favorite games, if not my favorite. <3
