I am going to sound like a total amateur but can someone reply to me and tell me if the red launch angle is what most players should be aiming for...i.e. not too low and not "balooning" a shot. Witha 9.5 I usually hit slightly above that angle but I can't tell if I am hitting down on the ball and getting backspin causing balooning. I use Taylormade Burner 9.5 stiff shaft and get it to 245 yards....ish.
taylormade is the best golf company ever and nothing beats it. I use them for every club and they are amazing! dont get anything else except titleist balls.
Taylor Made R7 Superquad is NOT banned. It has been and continues to be used on the LPGA, PGA, and Champions Tour...and by amateurs thoughout the world. I own one and it's awesome. By the way, the red drive is produced by having the two heavier weights installed in the back.
You're correct. About a week after I bought that Ripper, the head broke off. I got a refund on it, and I ordered a Hi-bore 10.5 stiff. But one thing that honestly was good about the Ripper was the accuracy, straight down the middle.
I thought it was a great driver until the head broke off, but before that, I was getting good shots with it. I have the 2006 HiBore, 460cc, and its new, they had a deal on rockbottomgolf for $100, so I got it.
It is definately a club for the expericed player, not a weekend hacker, I personally went with the Burner, it felt better for me, no playing aroung with screws and I hit it much further with good control on the Burner and it cost $100 less.

I want my trajectory to be like his first shot, I just sky my shots.

Try not hitting on the ball as much, and really just swing the club along the path.

Have you hit the r9 or a superquad? I think the burner is junk.
dand1403 1 year ago
it depends on what you want. if want higher trajactory and spin the r7 superquad.

whitear12345 3 years ago
superquad tp is the best. you can hit a lot of trajectories with it and guys its not complicated , just customize it the way you want
yashank1 3 years ago
Just get an Intech Ripper for $40, it outperforms the R7 in accuracy, almost distance too.
rendog92 4 years ago
you are retarded. the ripper is a crappy ass driver. you are just not good enough to see the difference

my friends
the superquad tp is better then burner because the movable weight tecnology
he haves tho pieces to hit a lot of trajectories the burner hits a very distance but the ball are a very low spin

USGA does not allow you to change the settings during a round sublime, so you wont see them doing that.
