Well the applications I do updates to at work were written in C++, however I also have to do basic IT work such as server maintenance, running Ethernet cable, etc.
Sounds a lot more interesting than being unemployed. Out of necessity I now have to just find any job I can get quickly. The guy I was talking to about web development spontaneously decided, in response to me sending a message to confirm a meeting we had organised earlier, that he did not have time to train me.
What sort of application did you have in mind? Would it have something to do with your website?
