@virginiatechfanx : The top speed in car is higher if you have large diameter wheels. On the other hand, the bigger the wheel, the slower the acceleration from 0 km/h to X km/h. That's why in normal cars there is a balance between wheel diameter and HP. In supercars, they want to achieve higher top speeds so they put the wheels as big as they can, having the HP necessarily also to accelerate.

All the horsepower and aerodynamics in the world don't do jack if you can't get out of the garage. Those cars wouldn't last more then 10 minutes on Wisconsin roads in the summer...wouldn't last a minute in the winter. Makes me wonder how they can be considered super if they can't handle the terrain. When I think super I think more "can handle anything and still be awesome." These cars are feats of engineering no doubts about that...but quite frankly, completely useless imho.

But it's still a muscle car - you can't compare it to a supercar - they are too different and are built for two completely different purposes. Not to mention, that the mustang is about £25,000, and those cars average about £150,000.
