All the things in place for this stimulus package are only gonna be good for short term .We need to get back all the jobs that we lost to Nafta and other failed plans of a few years back if every thing is made here everyone abroad will buy from us again Instead of every one coming to America these other countries should do the same have good paying jobs for there people instead of exploting them to slave labor if everyone is productive within there own society then everyone would profit

I don't know why tax-and-spend liberals don't like the last Republican Congress since that Congress never saw a spending bill it didn't like.

Looks like they may be starting to find their way again. Democrats helped push through Bush' 700b bank bailout more than Republicans did, and House Dems passed the stimulus bill without even reading it.

I'd like more LIbertarians in there, but anyone voting against these ridiculous bailouts is at least doing something right.
